Several Story challenges. Anyone who wants to can take them, just send me a message with a story link when you do, I want to read it. As many as want to take up the challenges can.

This is a WAY off canon story idea, that involves the better part of the rookies leaving the village and going off on their own, training under a strong naruto, and hunting down orochimarus bases around the elemental nations. (Not the snake himself, they are to destroy his bases, and wipe out any forces and supplies he may have)

Brief overview, more details at the link. Naruto is rescued by anko as a child, she starts training him, hinata gets kicked out of her family while in the academy, naruto brings her to anko. Shino is an outcast as well, but has been watching naruto and hinata, and eventually approaches them, so he gets in. No jounin want these guys on their team, so Anko volunteers and they kick ass.

Ok, in this story we have the generic team 7 setup, but kakashi is taking things seriously. He is training naruto in all forms of clones he knows, as well as supplementary jutsus like exploding clones, kunai/shuriken clones, etc. Also teaching him evasion based taijutsu and the tactics of an armies general to better direct his clone forces. The rest of the team is recieving equally excellent training. More or less canon storyline, make adjustments to taste, like for example, sasuke is getting hardcore training, doesnt look on his team as idiots that hold him back, so he may not wish to abandon konoha for more power.

Not a full story layout, more of a setup for naruto to use in any story. This naruto is a strategist, and deception is his best tool. You never know what he will do next, except that it generally will end in a victory for his side.

In this story we have a naruto that has earned the respect of several clans, unfortunately, not enough of them. The council tries to pull a fast one, and the naruto supporters are so outraged, they leave konoha.

6) Yes Virginia, Its Another Puppet Naruto Story http://www.fanfiction.net/topic/51526/13383353/1/

Basically, Naruto figures out how to make puppets. No training by sasori, no finding an abandoned work station full of scrolls, he reverse engineers it all bit by bit. Instead of making humanoid puppets, Naruto goes for demonic themes. His ultimate work however, are bijuu themed puppets. All with unique skills, abilities, uses, sizes, and ways of working together.

7) The Building Blocks of Magic

Ok, this is a smart/independant harry story. I have read many strong/super harry potter stories, and the ones I liked best were the ones where he found he had a natural talent for a specific magic field and used that to rise to greatness. For example, I believe it was called runemaster. He takes ancient runes after leaving divination with hermione and he basically ends up being unbelievably skilled at it, being so innovative that it boggles the mind. He even ends up upgrading the protections at gringotts just to give you a hint to his power. I thought id write my idea out in true challenge form.

1) Harry takes arithmancy and has an incredible affinity for it. He is basically able to reduce any spell to its fundamental mechanics and able to alter them any way he wishes, just by tweaking the numbers a bit. He creates whole new spells and improvements on old ones.

2) Doing all this math and such helps to improve his logical thinking to the point where he is able to see through dumbledoores attempts to manipulate him. Now, ill leave wether dumbledoore is just a micromanager with a grandpa knows best attitude, or a ruthless puppet master up to you. Either way, dumbledoore has his plans for harry, and is guilty of having arranged most of what he has gone through and has everything planned out up to and including his final showdown with voldemort.

3) Im a big fan of specific girls for love interests. Hermione, luna, susan bones, and the ice princess, but not cruel, daphne greengrass fanon character. I also dont object to multi pairings as chicks do tend to dig the injured orphan/knight in shining armor combo harry can give off at times. :p I dont hate ginny, its just, in canon she really never moves much beyond "kid with a crush" in personality. She just isnt developed enough imo to make for a reasonable partner. And yes I realize that daphne never speaks in the series, and is only mentioned like once in passing, but as I said, I like her fanon usual personality.

4) Harry makes a big splash with his achievements. Things like new charms, curses and hexes, and improvements on spells like protego, the patronus, and other common things. Try to keep it under control though. While I do like strong harry, I dont generally like godlike harry. In other words, no being able to go toe to toe with dumbledoore in regular sparring sessions, no massive unexplained boost in power that lets him slaughter a half dozen death eaters with a stupefy. No ultimate hex that can overpower a dozen avada kedavras and obliterate all of his forces with ease. His power boost comes from a much greater natural understanding of how magic works, and a logical growth in ability because of it.

To create an example, and feel free to use this. He understands everything about how the stunner spell works. In fact, he understands it so well, he has found ways to modify it so he can make it fly on a curved path instead of a straight line, allowing him to send it around barricades to hit those behind it. Or to make it reflect off of any nonliving surface, so he can literally bounce them off the walls and shields of the death eaters till it hits someone or he cancels it, making it far more dangerous. Feel free to make up new spells, but id like most of his work to be improvements on existing spells, and any new spells to not be overpoweringly strong.
