Author has written 36 stories for Harry Potter.

1st July 2009 - I have a little challenge up and running for anyone who would like to give it a go. The URL for the forum is http://www.fanfiction.net/topic/62550/16335433/1/ but in case that doesn't work, it is called Star's Alternative Yule Ball Challenge. The task is to write about Hermione going to the Yule Ball with anyone other than Krum. Check it out - closing date is 1st September :D

Nominations are now open at the Harry Potter Awards forum! There are some brilliant fics there, so it's definitely worth checking out. The link is : http://www.fanfiction.net/forum/Harry_Potter_Awards/64689/

Hey :D

I'm an English girl.

I read Harry Potter fanfics, but I'd like to get into some other books too, so if anyone has any suggestions, PM me. Oh, and I like Twilight too.

I would like to have a go at some other pairings as well, so if you have a request for a particular couple, let me know. I am ALWAYS open to requests and suggestions for plotlines, pairings, and even just prompts or titles you would like me to use.

I am one of those rare people who ships both Ron/Hermione AND Draco/Hermione. I think Ron is adorable, and they are perfect together, but Draco/Hermione also works well and offers more opportunities for an exciting story as well as fluff. Besides, cowards are adorable, too :D

I will read any pairing as long as it is well-written, although I have yet to read a Snape/Hermione - I just find the idea a little creepy. I would love to have my opinion changed, though, so if you know any good Snape/Hermione fics, feel free to PM me!

Actually, I lied - incest disgusts me, and no matter how well-written, I still can't read it.

I'm trying to improve my french, too, so I might try writing a one-shot in le langue beau (or perhaps just reading some fics. Or the title of a fic. Let's not be too ambitious here.)

My favourite ships at the moment are, in no particular order :

Harry/Ginny (mainly as a side pairing)

Ron/Hermione

Draco/Hermione

Charlie/Hermione

Teddy/Victoire

Scorpius/Rose

Scorpius/Roxanne

Scorpius/Hugo (because Ron only warned Rose ...)

Draco/Gabrielle Delacour (there should definitely be more fics for this pairing - I think it could work well, and we'd get to see some hilarious Malfoy/Weasley interaction when Draco has to meet his sister-in-law)

Harry/Pansy

Charlie/Lavender

Lorcan or Lysander/Lily (where Lily is a year or two older).

For some reason, I’ve begun to adore Justin Finch-Fletchley. I think I’m going to have to write a fic about him - it’s really bizarre.

I am a sucker for happy endings, inter-house unity, the-Slytherins-and-the-Gryffindors-end-up-friends type stories; PM me if you know any well-written ones! I will both read and write non-fluff if I am in the right mood, though.

I absolutely love Luna, too. Radish earrings… For fellow Luna-lovers, I recommend :

For Name’s Sake by Bartimus Crotchety - it is truly a work of art :D

Possibly one of my favourite things to do is to beta stories. I want to be teacher when I’m older and I honestly enjoy it, so if you ever need one check out my beta profile.

I will reply to every review I get - I think that if someone took the time to write even one word about your story, they deserve to be thanked.

I am not one of those authors who can guarantee an update on a certain day every week, for three reasons :

1)I can only really write and update on weekends and during school holidays

2)I prefer not to rush the inspiration fairy

3)I am naturally a little bit lazy and permanently late for everything, so …

Sometimes you will get five updates in a day and other times you will get one in a month … but bear with me - I promise that I will never abandon a story completely.

Plot-lines that I am not very fond of :

Hermione is a bad-girl/drunken/sex-maniac/goth and/or any combination of those things outside of school who hates her “Gryffindork” friends.

Hermione has an awful, abusive home life, just to give her something in common with Draco. I don’t actually think Draco’s home life is that bad - the Malfoys might be Dark, but they love each other very much.

Excessive Ron-bashing.

The Gryffindors are secretly horrible people who are bullying Hermione mercilessly - can’t hide from the Sorting Hat, remember?

If you want to use any of my story ideas or take inspiration from them, especially one of my one-shots or drabbles, just PM me to let me know, please :D I would be delighted to read the result.

My favourite authors :

Writingxonxwalls - she is the queen of the drabble/one-shot, hilarious and cute at the same time.

My Communities :

Nurture not Nature - contains non-cliche Harry Potter stories which deal well (and realistically) with the issue of adoption/step-parenting, whether as the main theme of the story or not. Any pairings, ratings and genres are accepted. Check it out, subscribe, and PM me if you know of any fics you think I should add :D

01. The character I first fell in love with: Draco Malfoy
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Ronald Weasley
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: No clue
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Pansy Parkinson, Lavender Brown
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer:No clue
06. The character I'd want to be like: Molly Weasley
07. The character I'd slap: Rita Skeeter/Peter Pettigrew
08. A pairing that I love: Teddy/Victoire
09 A pairing that I despise: well, Peter/Rita would irritate me to death … but it could be a good story.

List your top ten favourite Harry Potter characters in no particular order.

1) Molly Weasley

2) Luna Lovegood

3) Draco Malfoy

4) Ron Weasley

5) Augusta Longbottom (Neville's gran)

6) Severus Snape

7) Fred Weasley

8) George Weasley

9) Hermione Granger

10) Colin Creevey

Have you read a five/ten fic before?

Neville’s grandmother/Colin Creevey - That is wrong on so many levels (NO).

Do you think three is hot? How hot?

Draco - Yes - extremely. Very very very. Very. (I think you get my point.)

What would happen if six got one pregnant?

Molly/Snape - Arthur would be very upset, the Weasley family would break up (sobs) and everyone would be VERY shocked.

Do you recall any good fics about nine?

Hermione - Loads - see my favourites.

Would seven and two make a good couple?

Luna/Fred - I don’t think Fred would be able to even pretend to take her seriously…but they might be sweet together :D

Four/eight or four/nine?

Four/nine (Ron/Hermione) - they are very cute, and I think they are made for each other (also, incest creeps me out A LOT).

What would happen if seven discovered three and eight were having a secret relationship?

That would be weird but also very funny… Fred would be shocked (Draco is in Slytherin, a Death Eater etc.) and offended that George didn’t tell him, but I think he would support his brother…(also, this would open up a whole new realm of gay jokes :P)

Make a summary of at least twenty words for a two/six fic.

Luna/Snape - Imprisoned in the dungeons of Malfoy Manor, Luna is all alone. Can she keep faith in her friends? She has just one visitor, and he comes to be her only comfort. Will she be able to save him from his fate?

Suggest a title for a one/five Hurt/Comfort fic.

Molly and Augusta - Next Of Kin

What kind of plot would you use if four wanted to seduce one?

Ron/Molly - Oh my … -throws up-. A really, really twisted, dark, weird one. I’m going to have to check if that exists out of morbid curiosity … It does and it is so gross. Do not read it if you would like to hold onto the last meal you ate.

Does anyone on your friends list read number seven/nine?

Fred/Hermione - I’m not sure what a friends list is, but lots of people like that ship.

If you wrote a songfic about number ten, what song would you choose?

I’m not sure … something sad, about his death in the Final Battle -sob sob-.

In Remembrance...

…In remembrance of Fred Weasley

…Who fought bravely to the very end….

…And whose jokes will forever brighten his other half…

…And will loyally await his identical brother…

… with many jokes…

...he's got forever to think of them, right?

...In remembrance of Dobby...

…Who was more free and full of love…

...than any elf, and most humans.

….In remembrance of Remus J. Lupin….

...the last real Marauder...

…who was not just a wonderful father…

….a incredible husband and brave hero…

...as well as a totally awesome werewolf.

….In remembrance of Nymphadora Tonks

…who died for ‘the greater good’…

...and would probably hex me for calling her Nymphadora.

…In remembrance of Alastor ‘Mad-Eye’ Moody….

…who’s motto ‘constant vigilance’ kept him alive…

...and scared the crap out of some kids too.

…In remembrance of Tom Marvolo Riddle a.k.a. Voldemort….

…who was pretty cool, and cute when he was younger…

…but who got his bottom thoroughly kicked in the end.

…In remembrance of Albus Dumbledore

…whose past and wisdom confused us…

…whose seeming betrayal shocked us…

…but who actually turned out to be an okay guy in the end...

...despite the whole 'almost killing Harry' thing.

In remembrance of Bellatrix Lestrange

… because it’s was awesome how Molly slapped her with that Avada Kedavra...

...she deserved everything she got and more.

…In remembrance of Colin Creevey

…who we really didn’t know too well…

…but took a lot of pictures and died fighting in a war…

…so he must’ve done something good…

…besides stalking Harry.

…In remembrance of Severus Snape….

….A Slytherin who died like a Gryffindor…

...without all the red and gold crap.

…In remembrance of Hedwig

...Harry’s actual first friend…

...who lived and died soaring.

...In rememberance of George's right ear...

...whose death wasn't really necessary...

In Loving Memory of Common Sense

One of my best friends died recently; I'm really upset. He was such a great guy and I miss him. Maybe you knew of him. Most people did. I hope it wasn't you who contributed to his death, otherwise I shall dispatch a vicious band of lions to disembowel you. Okay, I don't have a troupe of lions at my disposal, but I can find one, trust me. My friend was a paragon of amazing. His name was Common Sense. I am sorry to inform you of his demise. Mourn with me.

Dearly beloved…we gather here to say our goodbyes. Here he lies…

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.

Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate and teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Panadol, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student; but, could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realised he was gone.

Albus Severus Potter and Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy hated their names. Then them met Reneesmee Carlie Cullen, and realised it could be much, much worse - they could be Limes Morthur Potter and Narcius Malfoy :P

My Harry Potter Life: (this is just for fun - Mneme won’t be popping up in any of my stories)

Name: Mneme (Emms) Phaedra Nymphadora Weasley (Mneme means 'memory' and she was one of the Three Muses in Greek mythology)

Age: 15

Year: 4

House: Gryffindor

Blood Status: halfblood

Hair: red and viciously curly

Eye Color: green

Height: the small Weasley variety

Other features: many, many freckles

Personality: disorganised, late, lively, crazy, always looking for adventure, cares about her friends very much but occasionally puts her foot in it (like her dad)

History: she had a very happy childhood, home-educated along with her cousins by her mother, grandmother Molly and aunts, spending Saturdays “helping out” at Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes. She never really liked James Potter, thinking him a bit arrogant, until she got to Hogwarts and he saved her from some unfriendly centaurs in the Forbidden Forest. She has always worshipped Victoire and Louis, but is much closer to Dominique, whom she talked to when she first realised she liked Scorpius as more than a friend. Mneme and Rose went looking for Scorpius on the train when their dad told them not to get to know him - he should have known that telling them not to do something always produced the opposite result. They ended up sharing a compartment with Scorpius and Isla. Mneme became friends with Nathaniel during a detention in the Trophy Room, but Rose still doesn’t like him.

Parents: Ron and Hermione Weasley

Siblings: her twin sister, Rose Weasley and her little brother, Hugo Weasley

Extended family: Where to begin?
Grandparents : Molly and Arthur Weasley, Matilda and George Granger
Aunts : Fleur, Audrey and Angelina Weasley, Ginny Potter
Uncles : Bill, Charlie, Percy, and George Weasley, Harry Potter, and the late Fred Weasley
Cousins : Victoire, Dominique, Louis, Molly, Lucy, Roxanne and Fred Weasley, James, Albus and Lily Potter
Oh, and mustn’t forget Great Aunt Muriel
And, practically family, Teddy Lupin, Andromeda Tonks, Luna, Rolf, Lorcan and Lysander Scamander and Isla Zabini (Pansy and Blaise’s daughter)

Friends: Rose Weasley (Ron and Hermione)
Albus Potter (Harry and Ginny)
Fred Weasley (George and Angelina)
Scorpius Malfoy (Draco and Astoria)
Isla Zabini (Blaise and Pansy)
Joseph Longbottom (Neville and Hannah)
Bibi Finch-Fletchley (Justin and Parvati)
Amelia (Mia) Thomas (Dean and Lavender)
Leah Spencer (muggleborn)
Arnold von Bisschen (Durmstrang-educated wizard and Alicia Spinnet)
Nathaniel Nott (Theodore and Daphne)

Romantic interest: Scorpius Malfoy.

Patronus: butterfly (and why not?)

Boggart: hmmm…this is very embarrassing for her…Scorp’s dad, Draco Malfoy

Quidditch Captain?: Nope, Albus is much better than she is, though Rose and her are on the team as Chasers (Hugo, however, is scared of heights, just like their mother)

Prefect?: Yes, even though she thought that she had had too many detentions for that … and she’s chronically disorganised (like her father)

Broom: Scorpius carved her one and had it charmed for her fourteenth birthday - it malfunctions frequently, but the sentimental value makes up for the time in the Hospital Wing, in her mind

Wand: vine wood containing one unicorn tail-hair (an amalgamation of her parents' wands)

Pet: a tabby cat called Quilt.

Huggles, cookies and cherry pie,

Star xx
