Well, if you wish to know, here it is. My...profile.
Name: Cerasi
Age: 19
Profession: Writing (no joke, studying it at uni... who'd a thunk it!)
Interests: Reading, Writing, Music, Pictish History, Swords, Wolves, Castles, Fantasy/Sci-Fi, Tae Kwon Do, Painting/Drawing and trekking about the country side as often as I may. Also, for some reason, a lot of people whose names start with 'J'
So, my stories. Well, here's the lowdown. I placed them in the order you should see them... and I'm telling you what they're actually like. Brutally honest, to be brutally honest.
Victory
It's short, it's cute, it's drabble.
The Cape
One of my favourite things that I've written. It's worth getting through, just for the end. I promise, good end.
The Little Things
It's a few little moments of Sirius/Remus luvin'. It's a protest piece against that little twat SiriusisSTRAIGHT who felt the need to post a (unsigned) review on my most beloved creative child, Smile.
Ring the Bell in the Rain
This is a double-moment. I've become obsessed with paralleling childhood to adulthood lately. This one is two little moments that Sirius and Remus share. It was a long time in the making, because I kinda forgot it was there.
Pictures of Africa
It's about Remus holding on to things that, really, are gone.
Smile
My pride and joy. I really can't tell you how much I loved writing this fic. It's non-chron, so it could get confusing, but it's all within the limits, nothing AU. It really is just about how much Remus loved Sirius, and how much Sirius loved him back. Read it, you'll fall in love by the end.
Last Night
Really, really short story about the last night that James and Lily shared in this world.
Vinclulum
This will be expanded. It's Ancient Future, slash between two of my favourite characters (or my favourite two? I can't decide) I have other moments planned, but I have to reread the books to write them.
The Ivy Marauder
This one, I'm very proud of. I kept reading Peter-bashing fics, and I decided I wanted to pay tribute to that foolish man. This is my attempt at putting reason behind his actions, and justifying the mistakes he made.
Autumn Rain and an Elm Tree
I think the most commonly used adjective is 'sweet', when people tell me about this one. I like it. It really is kinda cute. All preciousness, nostalgia here we come, and nothing matters in this little golden moment of theirs.
After Troy
Now there's a saga! I started writing it, all inspired. I mixed the film with the mythology of the creation of Rome, the Aeniad etc. Throw in a little Paris/Achilles slash, some gods playing games, and homosexual Hades, and you've got yourself a whole bundle of unfinished fun. I do have a plan, though, of what I want to do with it. I'll write it eventually. Basically, they're gonna get to Rome, and Achilles must choose between his Immortality and Paris' life.
Status Quo Ante
'The way things were before' is how I intended it. It shows Remus reflecting on their past. Like silver memories stroking his mind.
Epitome of Odd
This one is funny. All funniness when these two are drunk.
Ex Animo
Remus' life is coming to a close, and he bids farewell, or hello, to his closest friend. It's upsetting, but it's kinda dear.
Stage Fright
Essentially this is a songfic... or rather an album fic. Remus, again, is thinking back on life. Whole series of memories, like Ex Animo, but different. He's not dying. Oh, and the motto is: No regrets.
Fealty
This one is unfinished, too. It's going to be finished, just like After Troy, but it has a way to go yet. It's my version of the Knights before King Arthur. Don't read it yet. Wait until the end of the year, then I shall have done more.
Mae Govannen
I'm quite fond of this one. It's my take on the first meeting of Aragorn and Legolas. I had been reading a whole heap of AL fics, but I just wanted to show something sweeter, some innocent, yet profoundly deep connection upon their first encounter.
It was a Crush
This one I wrote after I had been musing on my one smittenness with a guy I worked with. I got over it, eventually, but then perhaps it wasn't meant to be, unlike Remus and Sirius. And if you're into mythology, look up Eros and Psyche, because that's what I based it on. I love that story...
Welcome to Hogwarts
My little Marauder's intro. It's a little AU... possibly. It involves a late joining of Hogwarts for our young Remus, and a couple of rather amusing plays on words, if I do say so myself! Which I do... I'm cocky like that. Anyway, entertaining.
Unexpected Happenings
What can I say? I was young! My mind was flooded with insanity and I had no talent to speak of, just a passion for writing lots. And lots. Apparently it's funny, but please don't judge me on this. It's up to you, I guess. And, as I apparently explained it to my friend once: "Gay, gay, gay. They're all gay!"
Not Quite Dead
Good lord... where do I start? I don't think I ever had any idea where this was going. Wait, no... I did. Obi-wan was to be kidnapped by Xanatos (who is, in fact, not dead!) and he would learn about Xanatos' past etc. Anyway, they would feel some sort of attraction, partake in kinky monkey sex, then Qui-gon would come back and Xanatos would flee, never to be seen again. But we would know! Oh, we would know that beloved Xanatos was still alive out there somewhere. I do so love that man.
Please note: if you're up for a funny read, go check out Cirinde Nenharma. It's a joint account with myself and my cousin, and we're currently working on a huge series of limericks all regarding the Harry Potter world. Chapter one is the entire first Harry Potter book, summarised in 18 simple limericks, so go forth and enjoy!
"Today I've come up with the perfect sentence. The rhythm, the syntax, the dipthongs, the dissidence...(ahem) 'Last night, I dreamt of Glocca Morra... again.' pause It's really a shame you can't publish a sentence. I'm convinced it would be a best seller." - James, Party Monster
