It's come to my attention that Twilight sucks pony dick. So I will not degrade myself by writing fanfic for it. And I hope that some of you teeny boppers will come to your senses and go read a good book. Thank you.

Why?

It's a long story involving my little cousin and the most disturbing story I've ever read.

It was about a girl who moves to BC and falls in love with a vampire named Edgar. And the better part of this seventeen page epic was the girl cleaning things and being abused by Edgar. He treated her like crap and she kept going back to him like a fish without water, and the whole time I was reading it my cousin was going on about how Edgar is an improved Edward, meaning he doesn't care if he hurts the girl character.

And it freaked the hell out of me to think that there are other girls out there thinking like this. Imagining that they'll never be good enough for anyone, and not knowing that vanity isn't the only thing that stands in a relationship.

So I'm washing my hands of Twilight and looking for books with a cool story and solid, stable characters. Hopefully one with a female lead who doesn't need saved all the time. Laugh all you want at my reasons for abandoning the Twilight Fandom, but if you can't see the warning signs in some serious problems with the female mindset, I'm seriously sorry. The thing is, if you're going to be so opinionated against my reasons, at least have the decency to sign in. Don't hide behind an Anon mask, because in the end, your negative ideals are null and void against the fact that you don't have the nerve to actually stand up to me.

I use the term Twitard lovingly, but you can't put expressions into notes because they don't tell a story. Twilight is fine as a book. But I've seen that it CAN do damage to impressionable teens. And it's not the story or the author, I don't think. I mean, I loved The Host, and Jasper Rox my Sox, but how the story revolves around the two worst examples of lovers is disturbing. Their faults are in their faultlessness, if you get what I mean. If the story would have been about Rosalie and Emmett or Jasper and Alice or even Carlisle and Esme, it would have had a better point. Because those characters have faults that aren't all talk.
