The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. ~Psalms 23:1-6

Quick Note: I am so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so sorry to everyone that has subscribed to my Story and/or Author alert(s) for not completing my stories. Truth be told I have really been suffering from a lack of motivation and inspiration to complete the stories the way I had intended to when I started them. I'm honestly hoping to start getting back into them soon, since I don't want to completely give up on them all together.

Hi, my screen name is Pepper9873, but you can call me Pepper. I am a twenty-year-old girl who lives in the U.S. I have one younger sister, who is my BFF. We've been home-schooled all our lives, so she is also my classmate. I love her to bits, although she can be quite annoying at times.

I have one pet. A female Siberian husky, named Tasha. She is pictured in my avatar, and turned thirteen last April We've had her since she was a puppy, and life wouldn't be the same without her.

I am a Christian, and have been all my life. I know that God exists; He proves that fact every single day. There is absolutely, positively, no way in the "other" place that I would ever be convinced that God isn't real. I can never understand how anyone could think that the world came from nothing. If it did, the "Big Bang" wouldn't be a theory. And if we came from monkeys, how come they're still here? I don't have a problem talking to people who aren't Christian, or who go against the Bible (didn't know any better way to put what I was thinking into words). I follow the phrase "Love the sinner, hate the sin".

I am a Republican living in a Democratic, Socialist state. I do keep current on events, so I can better express my views on them without sounding like an ass that thinks they know about something, but actually doesn't. I am very opinionated, and I question pretty much everything (something my doctor says I get from my mother). I love to debate with people, especially over some of the more controversial things. I'm also very stubborn.

I love animals. I especially love horses. I used to ride once a week, but had to give it up due to financial issues. I fill the void by playing Howrse, where I am also known as Pepper9873.

I've been reading Star Trek: Voyager fan fiction for a couple of months before E. Taylor introduced me to this sight. I then tried my hand at writing fan fiction, and been doing it ever since. I have a tendency to start stories from half-baked ideas, and not be able to complete them, because I can't quite figure out how to transport the story from part "A", through part "B" etc., to part finally stop at part "Z". I generally manage to do it after taking a huge break from the story. If it wasn't for the reviews I get from other members, I probably wouldn't continue writing. Since being introduced to the sight, I've also been reading fan fictions for some of my favorite shows and movies. Please do not archive any of my stories without my consent. If you wish to archive one of my stories, please send me a message leaving the name of your archive and its description. I will respond with either yes or no. Thank you.

I find Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers and most Disney Channel stars really overrated. Although I will say that Zac Efron is the only true exception.

I absolutely love, love, love Twilight. I love everything about it. I know some people who don't like the whole "sparkling" thing (you know who you are), but I think that the whole burning in the sunlight thing is a bit overrated, and the "sparkling" is a breath of fresh air.

Stories that I am Working On:

Title: The Knights of Voyagean
Category: Star Trek: Voyager.
Synopsis: While babysitting Naomi, Rebi, Mezoti, Azan, and Icheb with B'Elanna, Tom decides to tell the children a story about knights, using some strangely familiar characters and plots.
Status: Preview consisting of the prologue is posted. Have not started work on the first official chapter since that involves taking the time to watch "Caretaker Part 1" on Youtube and taking notes of the details. Official story won't be posted until I have completely written down Season 1. And I'll probably have a weekly update depending on how badly I need time.
Author Suggestions: N/A

Title: Preserving the Past
Category: Star Trek: Voyager
Synopsis: After a test flight gone wrong, Miral and Aiden Paris find themselves in the Delta Quadrant, 25 years in the past. Not only are they stranded, but their arrival threatens to disrupt a crucial moment in their parents' lives.
Status: Third chapter has been uploaded. A big thank you to all who reviewed; they are greatly appreciated. A portion of the fourth chapter has been written. And the rest of it should come more easily, since I just got my new laptop, and I can type while watching the show for the references needed. I just need to e-mail myself the part I already have written, so that way I can continue.
Author's Suggestions: If you haven't already, I suggest reading "Through the Tough Times" before reading this one; just because you might end up wondering when Miral got a brother.

Title: Life in Fanfiction
Category: Star Trek: Voyager
Synopsis: When Voyager comes across a race of isolated aliens, their surprised to find that not only do the aliens know of them, Voyager and its crew are their main source of entertainment. Eager to share with with the crew, the aliens allow them to take a library of stories that their people have written about the crew. But when the Senior Officers find that in some of the stories, they're paired with the wrong person, it makes them wonder what were these people thinking.
Status: I've gotten the first few paragraphs typed, but I've hit a wall. So it doesn't look like it would be done anytime soon.
Author's Suggestion: If you're a non-canon supporter -someone who doesn't ship couplings actually put into the show- then you may not want to read this when/if I upload it. There's going to be lots of non-canon pairing bashing, and I don't tend to be that nice about it either. But it's entirely up to you if you want to read it or not.

What Turns Me Away From a Story:

Poor Grammar: It really depends on the severity. I can tolerate mild grammar problems, i.e. using a comma were their should be a semi-colon. I've done that, it's no big deal. What I can't stand is when there isn't a new paragraph when someone different is talking.

Long Stories: I'll admit it: I have a short attention span. I skim through most long stories, then I decide whether or not I want to try and take the time to read it.

Stories That Run Too Fast: I can't stand reading stories without a real storyline to them. If I read one paragraph, and all of a sudden I'm lost because the author jumped way too far ahead, I'm jumping ahead to another story.

Confusing Plots: If I can't figure out what's going on, then I won't try to.

Poor Sentence Structure: I really can't stand a story with childish or under-developed sentences. A few here and there are fine, but when I see it too much that's when I stop reading.
