I am a mother of four who loves to knit and read. I live in Arizona, and spend 9 months of the year indoors to avoid the heat, as a result, I discovered Fan Fiction and finally decided to make a go at writing.

My favorite books are Harry Potter, the Twilight Series, the Star Wars series, and all of Jane Austen's works. There are also numerous fantasy writers I love: Trudi Canavan, Tamora Pierce, Fiona McIntosh, etc...

My favorite movies are Moulin Rouge, Love Actually, Pride and Prejudice, Phantom of the Opera, and Australia (Hugh Jackman with his shirt off, dripping wet...need I say more!).

I love the old British TV series Coupling... if you have never watched it, you are truly missing out. It is hilarious!

My favorite Pairings are:

Harry/Hermione and Hermione/Lucius... but mostly H/Hr!

Pairings I dislike:

Hermione/Ron, Hermione/Blaise, Harry/Ginny (without Hermione), and Hermione/Draco (although I have read a few good stories that did this pairing well)

FF Pet Peeves:

1. Stories that haven't been spell checked and read as if they were written by a dyslexic 10 year old, but get so many wonderful reviews? Sorry, but I just don't get it.

2. Wonderful, engrossing stories left unfinished. It's like having amazing sex and not being able to finish...in both cases, you're just left hanging. (That being said, I do realize that there is a world outside of FF, but how about offering your story to someone else to finish if you have no intention of it.)... just an idea.

3. and finally...people who are just plain mean in their reviews, especially if they haven't posted anything themselves. I greatly appreciate constructive criticism as I'm sure all of us who post stories do. We are all trying to improve our writing skills, but it is much easier to read a story and criticise it, than it is to write one of our own.

Having said that... I love Fan Fiction and have read so many amazing stories, and I offer my sincere thanks and appreciation for those readers who have taken the time to leave me wonderful reviews or negative, but constructive reviews for my stories.

I took some time off from writing to Beta a few stories, but I will be posting my new story soon. It is darker than either of my other stories... It is my take on the HG/HP independendent Harry and stronger Hermione story. It's currently untitled, but I have about twenty five chapters written so far. I am also writing a humor story that is tentaively entitled Twilight Zone and hope to post a few chapters of that as well.

I was afraid that seeing the HBP movie would sour me, but the kiss between Ginny and Harry was a joke and the 'sexual tension' between Hermione and Ron nonexistent.. The only truly beautiful scene was the one between Harry and Hermione... even the directors know true love when they see it! :D
