The accompanying picture of The Blues Wizards (Alatar/Elwood and Pallando/"Joliet" Jake) was drawn by the wonderfully talented Murasaki99! Murasaki99 and I happened to be talking about Lord Of the Rings recently, and I said that I'd always pictured the two long lost Blue Wizards as looking like Jake and Elwood. And Viola! She drew me this delightful picture!
Speaking of delightful pictures, Bridgie has drawn a really lovely illustration for Chapter Seven of "Squib Apprentice." It can be seen here:

Notes on my fiction: My kids are the ones who really got me obsessed with the glorious world of Harry Potter and I will always be grateful! (I try to remember how grateful I am when they are making messes in the house and refusing to do their homework... ;-)) I have a menial job at a school, which explains my fondness for a certain grumpy old guy with a cat. My stories are told from Filch's point of view. Snape is another favorite character of mine, who often plays a prominent role. Minerva McGonagall, Dumbledore, Hagrid, Draco Malfoy, Neville, Ginny, Harry, Ron and Hermione appear as well.
