Hello!

Hi, my name is Ally and I'm 15 years old. I live in Ontario, Canada and that's about the most in-depth response to where I live that you'll likely ever get. Some things to know about me are: I love to write... or at least think up ideas as I usually put off the actual writing; I enjoy reading, especially romance stories, but not the boring lovey-dovey kind, I like ones with mystery included or a forbidden nature; my favourite author is Nora Roberts; I love the show Life With Derek; I rarely act my age; I'm actually quite shy; I live on a farm (and yet I'm still extremely weak); I love being young, I'dactually go as far to say that I'm afraid to leave highschool; I love the colour purple; I like animals... yet, as mean as this sounds, they annoy me and I'm bad at giving them the attention they so-rightly deserve.

Another thing; my mood changes on a whim. I hate that too. Someone will say somthing that sets me off and I won't be able to keep from crying or laughing or whatever. I know it sounds normal... but it's not when your friend says something that might upset you and you're suddenly crying in the middle of class without a way to stop. It's quite embarassing actually.

Anyway, let's move on from the less-than happy part of my life. I enjoy fanfiction a lot. Actually, I love fanfiction, but I'd have to say my favourite fandoms to read from are iCarly and Life With Derek. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading other fanfics occasionally, but those are my favourite fanfiction fandoms because I watch those shows very often and because fanfiction writers tend to be better at these due to the shows being humerous. Still, I will not say that all writers in these fandoms are good because some really aren't. But, that'd be the lack of proper humor or lack of a good plot. Still, many are good with these and It's a joy to read a great many fanfics from these sections.

I joined fanfiction.NET and have been writing for the website since summer '08. While I don't really like many of my first stories, I'll keep them up as incentive to improve my writing, because as many do know, I need to improve it. Anyway, I have no intention of ranting about my writing since not much good comes of that.
