Author has written 13 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Mummy, and Harry Potter.

When we are writing, or painting, or composing, we are, during the time of creativity, freed from normal restrictions, and are opened to a wider world, where colors are brighter, sounds clearer, and people more wondrously complex than we normally realize. - Madeleine L'Engle

You may call me Artificial, Jenny, or Glora. I'm twenty. I want to be a writer, and I also want to be an editor for novels. I also act with a community theatre group as a hobby.

I've been homeschooled most of my life. Part of the reason is because I'm an Army brat that moved a lot. I went to twelve schools in two years! And those were all elementary schools...I never went to High School.

I'm Republican, if that matters to you. I'm also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (better known as Mormon).

I am attempting to review more often then I have lately. I get too lazy! If I've recently added you or your story to my favorites/alerts list and I haven't reviewed, you have my full permission to kick my butt.

Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand. ~George Orwell

That's how I feel about writing. I hate it with a fiery passion...but I really have no choice but to write. I've tried to stop. I managed to go a month, resisting the keyboard and keeping my notepad out of sight. But then I was sitting in an early morning class one day, waiting for it to start, sketching on some paper...and out came the basis of another story! I couldn't stop myself. I can't stop starting stories!

My problem mostly lies in finishing them. I think that's why I'm better off writing one-shots – they're easier to finish! But I always get caught up in another story, or run out of steam in my current one. Isis will be the first long story I'll ever finish, because I'd just feel too guilty if I gave up now!

A lot of the stories I have here are crap. I'm the first to admit it. But I'm leaving them there in hopes that one day I'll actually go back and rewrite them!

Here are some of my better stories, recommended for certain groups:

ISIS, for Mummy fans who can take a bit of Mary-Sueness. Alex O'Connell's friend Paige has come to visit, and while in Egypt she accidentally raises Imhotep. Strangely, he seems to know her...

STRANGE WORLD, for Raoul/Christine fans, though I would hope E/Cers would read it, too. It's very E/C friendly. It's about the third anniversary of Erik's death, and Christine reflects on him and how things have changed since. I wrote it hoping that hardcore E/Cers would read it and see that Raoul fans can love Erik, too. SADLY, the formatting seems to be off now, and since it's a songfic I'm scared to go in and fix it for fear it'll be removed.

THE MAIDEN, for Phantom fans and Greek Mythology lovers. Erik spends his last evening on a stroll in a graveyard, and meets an extraordinary woman, and then witnesses her unusual death. UNFORTUNATELY, there are a few errors in here that I didn't catch the hundred times I read it before I posted it. Honestly – how could I not catch Ursula major?! Curse you, spellcheck!

INSANITY, for hardcore Erik fangirls who hate every other character. Just 'cause you need to learn a little somethin'. Second chapter coming soon!

CINDERELLA AND PERSEPHONE, for Tom/Ginny fans.

Coming Soon:

L'AMOUR DE LA MORT (title subject to change): Erik lost Christine. He'd been mad with love for her, and she'd left him. But even with her gone, the madness remained. And now it had a new target. Phantom of the Opera. A fanfiction I'll be writing combining my unfinished fanfic Canary and my friend Ruby's (DangerousGame) unfinished fanfic Little Innocent.

OSIRIS: Thanks to her adventures two years before, Paige Woods was now...famous. And she was given a tour of a newly discovered tomb with her friends, Alex O'Connell and Fiona Bianca. But of course things just couldn't be simple – they accidentally raise another mummy...and this time, it's the Scorpion King. The Mummy.Sequel to Isis. Yeah, even though it's not finished yet.

THE HOST: There's something wrong with a girl in Bella and Edward's mythology class. Her thoughts belong to someone else. And there's something wrong with a girl in Jacob's history class. She smells like a grizzly bear. What do those two have to do with each other? Twilight/Animorphs crossover. Pre-Breaking Dawn, AU...sort of.

REALMS OF DAY (title may change to HEAVEN IN A WILDFLOWER): The young ladies of Spence Academy have come to visit the Palais Garnier. Erik spends much of their visit attempting to avoid all contact with them, but he cannot help but notice one quiet, mysterious red-haired girl. Her name is Gemma Doyle, he discovers, and she has a secret that will change his life forever. Phantom of the Opera/A Great and Terrible Beauty crossover.Just a plotbunny.

THE JUDGMENT OF ERIK: After his death, Erik must face the underworld, his judgment by the Lord of the Dead, and the inevitable punishment for his crimes. Phantom of the Opera. A long sequel to my one-shot The Maiden, though it can be read without having read that.

Writing Quote for June 2009:

Writing gives you the illusion of control, and then you realize that it's just an illusion, that people are going to bring their own stuff to it. - David Sedaris

"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." - Howard Thurman
