Author has written 9 stories for StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, X-overs, StarTrek: The Original Series, StarTrek: The Next Generation, and Lost In Space. I am a 45 year old male nurse that has worked with the forensic/addictions and psychiatric population for almost my entire career. I've been happily married for over 20 years and together, we have 3 grown children. They, along with the dogs and cats keep us pretty busy. I enjoy coffee (as you might tell from my pic), music from lots of artists but mainly classic rock (read Skynyrd and Boston) and country. Of course, writing is the thing that I love most. I've been writing for so long, I can't remember when I really started (my mother saved my "first" story written in crayon). I truly love sci-fi and fantasy. I love the thought of just escaping into another realm and forget the really bad world we live in. For me, the future isn't a time, it's a goal. That being said, I'm a die-hard, card-carrying Trekker (or Trekkie, since I could be old enough) but I also enjoyed Babylon 5, Lord of the Rings, 2001: A Space Oddessey, etc. I enjoy reading as well, but sci-fi and fantasy rule me there too. In any event, I welcome any and all honest critique of my work and don't worry, I'm a big boy now, so let it rip. Notes: 1. I have recently re-discovered Irwin Allen and I remembered my love for the Lost In Space TV series of the 60's and I just had to add that to my repetoire. 2. Okay, I've been away for a while I healed (and battled/battling the insurance for my just due!) but I'm back now. Hope you all missed me, at least a little? | |||||||
