08/10/09 I'm not on hiatus, I'm still writing, though I probably won't update very much. I've just started university so I'll have to stop updating so often as I have work to do. I'm also no longer accepting beta requests for now, sorry.

I don't think I've ever done this before, but rather then recommending an author, I'm going to recommend a story. I've been reading a Gravitation fanfiction called 'School Time' pretty much since it was first posted. Shuichi and Yuki get themselves arrested, and are doing community service for it. The story is so sweet and kind, all the while keeping the characters in character. There are dramatic twists and turns enough to keep you entertained, and shock and surprise you but ultimatly that is what makes a good story. Show Us Your Gunblade, Squall - Final Fantasy VIII. Based on an exchange between Squall and Zell at the beginning of Final Fantasy VIII, when Zell wanted to see Squall's gunblade, and my friend and I immediatly jumped to the wrong conclusion :D There may be a sequel to this one day, if I feel like it. One-shot. Complete.

Two Halves Of One Heart - DN Angel. My first fanfiction ever, based on a role play Black Knight Dai and I did. RisaxDaisuke, one-sided RisaxDark, mentions of DarkxDaisuke. Daisuke loves Risa, Risa loves Dark, and Dark loves himself. Risa meets the elusive Phantom Theif Dark when she attends a ball with her sister Riku, which they were invited to for saving someone's life. Risa falls in love with him, from which Dark gently rejects her. After a while, the exhaustion and pain gets too much, in which she is cared for by a comforting Daisuke. Multi-chap. Complete.

How to Tell if You're a Writer

-If you talk to yourself.
-If you talk to yourself about talking to yourself (i.e. ‘I wonder why I talk to myself so much?’)
-If, when you talk to yourself, you sometimes speak as if talking to another person (i.e. ‘Okay, so have you ever noticed that the word ‘deliver’ could mean removing someone’s liver?’)
-If, after uttering a profound piece of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand in awe and say, ‘Wow, this is good stuff for sugar highs!’
-If you live off of sugar and caffeine.
-If people start to notice that you tend to check your e-mail every day for a week, then suddenly disappear off the face of the planet.
-If your e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.
-If, when replying to someone else’s e-mail, you are sometimes so random that you fail to address the original message altogether.

For me, crazy is a loose term. Crazy is when you stare at a pencil and laugh when someone asks you just what you find so interesting about the eraser. Crazy is when you have an hour long sob-fest, then start singing and dancing when your favorite song plays. Crazy is when you do or say a totally random thing, like "do you ever wonder where the eraser bits go?" or start having a thumbwar with yourself (i find that i am a very tough opponent).
