My name is Sarah Natalia Lee. I am the author of the vampire romance novel Saving Amy, as well as many fanfictions that were written and posted under a different name.

Writing is, for me, a way to release my feelings, a means of getting lost in someone else's head and experiencing events and emotions that I ordinarily don't face. It's a way to connect with others, to see the soul of someone different from you, and to gain a greater understanding of life, humanity, and the world around us. The hypnotic flow of words onto paper creates a universe I can get lost in when I wish to escape reality for a while, much as books and movies do for others (and me, of course). It is what feeds me life and keeps me going, and the painstaking art of creation is a rough but rewarding journey. No matter how many roadblocks are hit, it is always worth it in the end.
