Getting it Right by MoonPrincess92 - Rose/Scorpius, probably one of the cutest things I've ever read. Converted me to this ship, for real. Also, check out Moon's page for other GIR-world adorable fics, like The Extra Ones! This is a long fanfic, but not too terribly long.

We'll All Float On by klemonademouth- Kurt/Blaine, came to me highly recc'd by a friend of mine. She's OCD about Klaine, but I just find them seriously, seriously adorable. Also, they're my first non-het OTP, followed closely by Willow/Tara. Anyway, it's a bit long, but it's so fluffy and adorably Klaine that I just wanna puke. Also, it's teetering on M by the end, so.

Must Be the Wrackspurts by Zinlala - Luna/Neville, my only non-canon Harry Potter OTP. This is probably one of the most in-character Lunas I've ever seen. Stellar job. It's only a twoshot, but it's a flipping amazing twoshot.

Before Harry: The Marauders' Tale, The Potter Legacy: The Story of Lily and James, and The Ties that Bind, all by Chelles (note, for some reason the search bar hates Chelles' username, so check my favorites list at the bottom)- Lily/James, my marauder-era trilogy. She's rewriting Before Harry, so it's kind of off the record right now, but it's one of the best things ever- it even includes RemusxTonks and classy OCs! This is a really, really, really long story. But so, so, so good.

Tapas at Twilight by Melolabel - Bella/Edward, but an AUAH Twilight fanfiction (the best kind). I really like this one. Hesitant about putting it on my hall of fame, but it's a really classy story, so it stays. Medium-long.

Every Rose Has Its Thorns; Burning Roses, Silver Thorns; and Thorns of the Past, Roses of the Present by V-Roxie-V (.T-Roxie-I., what happened to your username?)- OC/OC, a Warriors trilogy. It's kind of a small fandom, but this is really just a soap opera. With cats! It's the hackin' longest thing since Chelles' MWPP fic.

Land Of Fire and Stone, Voice of the Earth: Land of Fire and Stone 2, and Bender by Arcole- Zuko/Toph, an ATLA fanfic. The first one is slow, the second one introduces Jet/Mai and drama, and the third is really cool.

Bless the Broken Roads by Inthemadhouse- Jasper/Alice ish, but it's really a story about Jasper fitting into the Cullen family. It's a oneshot, but a really long oneshot. I just think it's really well done. Soooo good.

I have hit writer's block in my 'novel'. Right now, it's about 25 pages long, and I'm looking for an editor who is not Sunshine (F8WUZL8). So, anybody who likes fantasy and has a lot of spare time on their hands and is a good editor, PM me! It's decent and things!

I have gotten out of my writing-fanfiction mojo. I said temporary a month or so ago, but now everything is on hiatus for the forseeable future. High school is harder than I could possibly have imagined (so what, I broke the thirteen year old rule, we all did it) plus I'm Renn-festing all the time, so I have very little free time, and I squander it watching ANTM. Yeah... anyway, I'm still reading, a LOT, so send me any fanfiction you have or you like. Anything but "Son of Neptune my way" fanfictions. I'm far too excited for it coming out. Two days before my birthday, what! So yeah. Read my blog.

Everything on here is on a temporary hiatus as I finish my novel and go to my grandmother's for three weeks. Don't worry- around when school starts back up, I'll start updating again.

In other news, I am a new LOTR fan. I have only seen the movies, working on a second time, so I'm not a full-fledged, writing fanfiction, squeeing fangirl, but I'm on my way. Whenever Legolas comes in, I'm like, damn, boy, you're hardcore. There's an elephant? No sweat, I'll just take it down single handed. A troll? B* please, I'll just shoot it in the mouth. How many Orcs have I killed? However many arrows I'm missing PLUS three. Sorry. I love him. Not because he's Orlando Bloom, who is not that hot, but because he kicks ass. I also love Sam, but his major drawback is his devotion to Frodo, who's kind of an ass. I mean, I get that he has a super bad ring and everything, but he's an ass. Also, wherever I turn I see JKR and Harry Potter, so, that doesn't help. Like, oh, no! The -dementors- ringwraiths are after him! -Dumbledore- Gandalf just fell off a cliff (and survived!).

Looking down at my profile, I feel morally obliged to update. I think my plan is to post another MAO chapter, then some Zane x Rikki House, and maybe, if I'm feeling kind, a chapter of TSLC. The reason I'm pushing for updates today is because on Monday I begin a summer camp about writing, and I'm going to focus on something on neither fanfiction nor fictionpress. So I'm effectively guilt-tripping myself into updating now. XOXO :).

Okay, so I just posted a new Twilight fic, MAO. This was written with F8WUZL8 a couple of years ago, but I just suddenly decided to post it today. Really, the point of this is to credit F8tey, which I think I also did in the first chappie, but... you can never be too careful with intellectual property. Anyway, each chapter will be a new round, and a new rule for everyone to learn. You can cheat and look at the bottom, but... it's more fun to try and figure it out. Also, the POV is going to change each chapter, so you're not stuck with Bekeyboo-Bella the whole time. Check it out!

Guess what? I'm typing this on my new laptop (which I saved up for like forever to get). No, I'm not just rubbing this in your face- this means I can type up my fanfictions and upload them to the site on the same computer- less of a delay between updates. So huzzah and a half. Gimme a day or so to transfer ALL my files then I should be back to updating with my usual endearing irregularity.

It's alive! Yes, I have finally gotten off my lazy arse and thought about my fanfic. In my defense, my laptop doesn't let me login. Anyway, I have TSLC to update, my new PJO idea to develop, and a new H2O: Just Add Water fic to upload. Right now it's a fluffy drabble each chapter (I am not copying F8, I swear I came up with this on my own- parallel evolution!) and I have two. So, for about a month and half I'm going to have some really spotty, few-and-far-between updating, and then come summer I'm probably going to have some really spotty yet more common updating. However, I'm not going to lie to you, I lost my TSLC plotline. I'm going to wing it and hope I don't die. I'm back, though!

Yep. I finally took TSLC off hiatus. I let life get in the way of my updates and even though I'm busier than ever right now with exams coming up and being in a show, I said, "What the hell!" and kept on writing. My new chapter is something like 1,300 words, I want to say. It sounds right. It might suck. It might be awesome. I genuinely don't know. Anyway, it's up. Read and pretty please, reveiw? I have like none. My reveiw count depresses me.

In non-TSLC related news, I may have a new PJO fanfic idea. Yeah, I make these suckers the same way China makes toys. Way too many. This one will be less plotty and more funny (I hope. Most of my jokes are dumb and/or related to English of pre- colonial times. Nope. Not kidding.) This one will have ships, and it will be Percabeth because Percabeth kicks ass. However, I am not one of those girls who hates Rachel. I actually quite like her and want to include her somehow in this one. Again, it will totally disregard TLH. Thinking of that, I think all of my stories disregard that because I am anticipating Son of Neptune (eep) so much that I only want Rick's unsoiled plotline in my head.

TSLC Update- I knew I was going to get heck to pay because Eos, not one of the Big Twelve, had a cabin ready and waiting for Dessa. Here is why (no, it's not a gaping plothole): I can't find a cute, clever, and creative way to work it into the story in Chapter 2, so its a side note. This takes place I'm going to say maybe a decade after TLO. Far enough away that we don't really know anyone at camp, but not so far away that we're encountering their children. Then I'd have to go into shipland, and... nobody wants that. Anyway, the gods decided to claim all their children under the age of 15. They can't go around claiming 30, 40 year olds, no one would believe them. After they decided that, the gods gave Chiron a couple years' heads-up before they claimed their kid so Chiron could have time to build them a cabin. This is so no one feels left out, betrayed, turned against the gods, hosts Kronos, because we all know how well that turns out. So, that is why Eos has a cabin, because she doesn't want her daughter turning against the gods.

Okay, TSLC is up, but without the hyphen because it was dumb. Hopefully that story is why you're here. I encountered a challenge on this site to write a story without copying anything from PJO. So what I really want to know is how creative this story is- clever, dumb, funny, boring, anything, just try to be nice about it. I know when you don't. Other news: I deleted half of the updates from my profile, they're getting really annoying. And yes, this is my new catchphrase: xoxo, bekeyboo ;)

Hey there PJO fans! I'm currently making a plot outline/character summaries for a PJO fanfiction tentatively named The Sacred Lot-Cards, roughly 28 chapters as of right now... probably a lot less... and the reason I am ditching Forever Ten (for now), I didn't make a plot outline and my characters suck. But, if you want a little teaser for my newest plot-bunny, here goes: Dessa Baracson was perfectly happy being ignored. But now, she's been caught up in a quest made for more powerful demigods, and let's just say it's a good thing she likes being ignored! Can Dessa and the other questers cooperate long enough to keep Zeus on the high throne? Shipless!

Because no one votes and I asked some of my friends, Cinderella will stay as is. But, carlisleedwardemmettjasper, I listened and gathered an opinion before shooting you down. Love you!

I have found a new fave fandom. AUAH or AHAU Twilight canon fanfic. Snotty voice But AU AH is just a story with the characters names' in it! End Snotty voice. NO IT IS NOT! It is the personalities of the characters merely pasted into beautiful but all-human bodies and meeting their partner in a different circumstance. I just recently added a few to my favorites, my absolute fave being Tapas at Twilight. Yum.

Forever Ten Chapter 6 Author's Note- My Epic Fail Do Not Suck list: F8WUZL8 and she barely but does count. I will continue to rag on you guys for reveiws! This is rediculous! I have, like, 5. 55 people have read Forever Ten in the past 13 days. I would love it if you could find it in your heart to leave a reveiw. It would be awesome. My oneshots have less readers and more reveiws than this. However, I will not become a crapthor saying that I won't post till I get more reveiws because even though I love you guys, you are not the reason I write. I write because I want to and that is why I am always late. About the late, I'm sorry, I was super busy yesterday Tuesday when I was supposed to post this. I swam for like 3 hours, I made cookies for my friend, I did homework, I studied for exam week... Yeah. Whatever. I'm sorry I sound pissy, but I kind of am that I have one reveiw of Chapter 5.

Forever Ten Chapter 5 Author's Note- Yeah, I moved my A/Ns to my profile. Makes the story shorter. This chapter was so much longer than the others I've been posting- it makes me happy! This is about how long my chapters should be-1,377 words. I give love and credit to who else? Sun/F8WUZL8, my Beta, who totally delt with me when I went insane on Sunday- "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE!" You're better than I deserve as a Beta, Sun, because I just dump crap on you. Next point- Reveiws. Really? 4 total. I have four chapters that have been up for more than five minutes. I have 124 visitors. I don't expect EVERYONE to reveiw, but this is rediculous! 3 reveiwiers times four chapers should mean twelve reveiws. I'd be okay with that. Let's just aim for double digits. That would be two reveiws per chapter. Some authors have 4 digit numbers. You guys are as cool as them. Let's show it!

Forever Ten Update/Anabel the Weird One-ers - I was going down memory lane in my reveiws that I archived, and I came across a good few about Anabel the Weird One! OMG! I forgot to tell all of you as a general disclaimer that your beloved Anabel once had her very own story! Yes, same author, same name, same powers. Unless I ever revealed if she could or could not defeat Bella, which might change in the new story.

Forever Ten Update- I love you. I have my stats open in another window. I'm gonna guess that I posted Chapter Two about five hours ago. Already gotten 20 hits and 20 visitors. Chapter One? 82 hits and 81 visitors. You all rock. And the diversity! Theres people from America, UK, Canada, Netherlands, Ireland (my dads' family lives there!), France, Brazil, South Africa, Romania, and the Phillipines. Wow. You guys are just awesome. Another note on Chapter 2- the whole blowing-up-F8WUZL8, that was a joke from school. She's fine and I'm not actually gonna kill her. It was a dumb dare revenge.

A Quick Note About Dalton (Because You Can't Be A True Warbler-Fangirl Without Reading It)

First off, it's perfect. I love everything about it, even when it gets all slashery. Surprisingly, I'm a Ranebow. I mean, duh I'm on the Klaine Traine, have you met me, but I'm a Ranebow so hard it hurts. But I have a question about the Jogan ship.

Why is it the Gondola? Like, seriously, what is happening? I know it's the Gondola and Jogan shippers are the Gondoliers, but what the hell? Why is it a gondola? Where did it come from? Why weren't their names smooshed? Why is this such a big ship? How does everyone in the world know that it's the Gondola? Is this real life?

Ok now that I'm done panicking, I just want to say, props to CP Coulter. You and Thanfiction have done something amazing- created a story that has a gazillion hits and has its own fandom. Proportionate to fandom, Dalton is bigger, but DAYD has to deal with the sprawling mass that is Harry Potter fangirls. Ah, well.

Flames vs Constructive Criticism

Flames are reviews that offer no reason to dislike this particular fanfiction. For example- I hate you go shove your hands in a blender and turn it on (btw, i'm 99 percent sure death wishes are illegal- check and see if you can sic a lawyer on them). Also, flames can be criticizing something that is a characteristic of this genre of fanfiction. The genres, from where I stand, are canon, noncanon, oneshots, and drabble/crackfics. Canon is... well... see the poem above. Noncanon means you're not sticking to the plotline/ laws of reality of a particular story. So if someone criticizes a noncanon fic by saying "That didn't happen in the books!" that's the point. Therefore that is no valid reason to criticize a fanfic. Oneshots are one-chapter, and therefore short fanfics. Saying a oneshot is too short is a nonvalid reason to say you hate a story. Now, crackfics and drabble is where it gets dicey. The point of them is that they have no point. Drabble is a plotless oneshot, and a crackfic is were random ideas are strung loosely together on a plotline. Criticizing them on those aspects isn't nice. Now, after reading this and deciding, say, you hate oneshots, DON'T READ THEM. One of my friends (hi F8) got a flame and, let me tell you, it will ruin your day.

Constructive criticism is good. If you find a fanfiction riddled with grammatical/punctuation errors, here's a way to say it without being mean about it. Hey So-and-so. I like your idea, but your grammar and punctuation need a little... maybe a lot of work. Finding better ways to express yourself helps convey your plot. Speaking of, I do like the direction you're taking this story. I can't wait to see what happens next! xoxo, bekeyboo ;). Praise, polish, then praise again. If you can't find anything to praise, DON'T LEAVE A REVEIW! Stop reading! Really! It's okay to do that! Another thing about constructive criticism- I like it more than 'omg i love your story i worship you' (though those are always appreciated and fun to read- morale boosters) and I bet other authors do too. Also, if you happen to get some constructive criticism, be grateful. This author cares enough to give you some real tips and pointers. Whatever you do, DON'T REPLY SCATHINGLY. Don't do it. You'll just piss off the reveiwer and they will really flame you.

I've been sneaking around in flamer territory and what I've found is that neither side is completely blameless. They, admittedly, have websites that specifically target certain authors/stories (http://flamespots.blogspot.com/search/label/Featured%20Authors This is the featured authors page. If you or someone you know is on it, change your username/ story title so they might not be able to find you. But you have a big ole target painted on your forehead.). They are also somewhat overzealous or overentheusiastic in their reveiws. However, they have a point. They started off giving real constructive criticism (see above), some softer-skinned authors overreacted (note: if you reacted to a reveiw, I am not calling you soft-skinned), and therefore the reveiws got harsher until it evolved into the flame we know and hate today. So you, the victim, need to stop retorting. Once they feel like they've won, they should slow down, become less active.

Go to PJO On Crack- Chapter 1 had some short and sweet flames/ hurtful constructive criticism. Really, the first freaking chapter?
Go to PJO On Crack- Chapter 8 by Nicco1395 (another short, sour flame. ouch.) and another burn by Aish Shiva (grrr...)
Go to PJO On Crack- Chapter 7 by Neo Youngblood (grrrr and he flames other flamers' reveiws. ouchhh)
A note about PJO On Crack- I beleive she took down about 3 flames all from the same dude. Ow. And she has some faithful, sweet and supportive fans as well as demons.

And please look at Chapter 12. They drove her to that. (For those who have not read the story- Chad is a gay purple armadillo who wears a top hat and Psierena sp had a mermaid tail)

I'm saving this message that was on for roughly 30 min cause it really shows how much I care about flames: I will add more chapters with awful, horrid, terrible, self-harm-wishing flames that this poor author was justified in getting PO'd with and the reveiwers totally overreacted to her reaction. You don't even have to read the story. You don't even have to like crackfic. This is terrible to EVERYONE who EVER got flamed.

A Note on Drabble and Crackfics

Brace yourselves for criticism. Not many people respect these fanfics. I reccoment putting in your summary- Drabble or Crackfic. Just a word of advice to you.

Mary Sues and Gary Stus

A Mary Sue/Gary Stu is a flawless, usually OC but sometimes OOC character. Here are some ways to avoid these and therefore the flames that come with them. If you don't know what a flame is, scroll up.

- Read some anti-Mary Sue literature. Maximum Ride has excellent characterization in it. Every character (except Angel, imho, no that does not mean i'm a ho) has one or more flaws that make them a little bit more human and less MS/GS. Max is paranoid, Fang is (HAWT) silent and unaffectionate, Iggy is blind, Gazzy is eight and gassy, and Angel is the devil (no, not a tool of the devil, she is THE devil. and the pokemon are her evil minions. she lives in a castle of kaleb bones surrounded by winged buffalo).

- Identify it. Write out a character biography. If you find yourself using a lot of 'her long, lush, soft blond curls fall down her back' or 'her outgoingness got her in, and her kindness kept her in (a clique)' or 'shy and sweet, that was Mary', then she's probably a Mary Sue. Also, DON'T name a character Mary Sue. That is the equivalent of asking for a flame or drawing a massive target on your back.

- Decide on a flaw. And DON'T make it something he or she can't help. If you have a Mary Sue that, every so often, erupts into Kronos, but has a valiant and lifelong struggle against the demon inside, guess what? Still a Mary Sue. One good path to both darken the story, thicken the plot, and help establish a character is to have that flaw you decided upon 10 seconds ago kill someone. You defend your sister, who didn't really need your help, against a friend, who did, showing the flaw of loving family above all else. Or empty-headedness getting your character sliced up like bread in a fight with Kronos.

- Don't lavish on the supernatural powers. Or, if you do, there are so many ways to make it a non-Mary Sue. She struggles against these powers+ fault. Or, my personal favorite- Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Have your main character go off with Voldemort for the heart of the story, the climax being her powers are taken away and she goes back to the right side, with the God/King of Incredible Hawtness, Harry Potter, aka Daniel Radcliffe.

I hope this helped y'all with your Mary/Gary issues.
