Author has written 41 stories for StarTrek: The Original Series, Heroes, Misc. Movies, Mission: Impossible, Route 66, and Man From UNCLE. What am I? Star Trek fan, novelist, graduate of a BA in English Literature and MA in Early Mediaeval Studies, cat lover, mother of three children, frequently insane. My other fandoms, for a long time back, have been The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Quantum Leap, Due South, and Northern Exposure. More recently I have discovered Peter Graves and Mission: Impossible (please, the real MI, not that film stuff...), and through that I landed on Route 66, where I am in love with Stirling Silliphant's screenplays, the gorgeous filming, the lyrical dialogue, the unique views of early 1960s American life, and most importantly with George Maharis's dark, brooding Buz and Martin Milner's freckled and open Tod. Most of my fiction here is Star Trek. I've been writing that for 15 years or more. I know the characters. It's easy now. I write some K/S and some Spock/Chapel. I tend to deal with angst, rape, disability, bereavement - all that fun stuff - but that doesn't mean it's all heavy going. Recently I've written a little Man From U.N.C.L.E.(crossed with Star Trek), and I've started some Mission: Impossible. Please be patient on this front. I find it very hard going writing for a fandom I haven't written in before. In the last few weeks I've also started to write some Route 66. Some of my fiction is slash, some of it is not. I don't have a problem with writing slash for one story and non-slash for the next. Flexibility is what fiction is all about. I'm terrible at replying to reviews, but each one (at least, the nice ones, the helpful ones, the ones that remind me I use too many commas and dashes) light up my morning when I find them in my inbox. I'm not a horrible person. I just have three children and three cats and a dog and a house and obsessions and fears and other things that get in my way.
