Author has written 7 stories for Final Fantasy X.
"Writing and reading decrease our sense of isolation. They deepen and widen and expand our sense of life; they feed the soul. When writers make us shake our heads with the exactness of their prose and their truths, and even make us laugh about ourselves or life, our buoyancy is restored. We are given a shot at dancing with, or at least clapping along with, the absurdity of life, instead of being squashed by it over and over again. It's like singing on a boat during a terrible storm at sea. You can't stop the raging storm, but singing can change the hearts and spirits of the people who are together on that ship."

[2.22.04]

Been hellishly busy with work related stuff — leaving me little time for the one thing I believe most important: thinking and writing about Auron. ^_^

I had grand plans to cleanup and repost Otherworld by this week for the two-year anniversary of its “publication.” It embarrasses me something awful now, with all its errors and newbie naiveté. Ah well. Guess I’ll celebrate anyway, by saying thank you to everyone who has ever slogged through reading it. And it’s amazing how Auron still inspires me and lives inside my heart after all this time. If anything, he has become dearer — like a treasured friend — albeit a rather grumpy one. *grin*
