I'm a vivid fan of the Metal Gear Solid series and a good amount of my fics will be MGS or they'll involve Snake. Other fandoms that I write for include Super Smash Brothers, Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. I'm also fond of writing crossover fics, you'll find that quite a few of my fics are crossovers between MGS and some other game. I hope people will enjoy my writings and are inspired by them. Wesker stays true to his promise at the end of 'Irony' and morphs Jill into a mindless servant (The Bird Lady). Excella Gionne remains oblivious to the fact that Wesker is just using her and is planning to get rid of her once the time is right. After Wesker and Jill achieve victory over Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar in Africa and Wesker claims his divine right to rule , old memories of Jill's begin to resurface. Wesker attempts to block them out with more brainwashing and lies but the memories continue to haunt Jill. Will these be the key to Jill's redemption or will Wesker prevent her from redeeming herself? While out demon hunting, Lady is captured and taken to Temen-ni-gru, where Vergil and Arkham were defeated years before. Dante eventually learns of this in the form of the Kalina Ann being tossed through his shop's window with a note attached to it, he sets out to rescue her from the tower. At the tower Dante begins to experience memories from when he went to go stop Vergil. At the same time though he feels as if a familiar presence is following him throughout his journey. Dark secrets are revealed as are twisted plots, but none of them matter to Dante, the only thing on his mind is to rescue Lady. But...will he succeed before its too late? That is all the information that I will give you for now. Opinions The swordsmen are over used: I believe that the swordsmen characters are a bit over used in the SSB fandom. I think this because at least three to four stories out of the twenty five posted on the front page are usually about Link, Ike, Marth etc, as the main character. There are a lot more characters out there to write for. Not that many original stories nowadays: It is very hard to find good quality, unique fics these days. Most people probably put the first thing that comes to mind down on a piece of paper, type it, and then expect to get reviews for it. If you want reviews(good ones), carefully plan out the story before writing it, write it, and get a beta reader or someone to look it over for you. Yaoi: In my original profile I stated how much I hated Yaoi, but after reading a couple of well written stories, I've come to tolerate Yaoi to an extent, but I still don't support it. Though there are a select few yaoi pairings that I do support, only a select few know of them. Yuri: Personally, I'm indifferent towards yuri pairings. Though there is very little yuri where I come from (MGS,SSB) I've noticed quite a few of the fics that star it are a bit...weird. A few of them that I've seen are rather good but then there are others that I find very strange. I support like two or three yuri pairings, but that's it. Solid Snake stereotypes: I really can't stand these, they are so annoying and in both the MGS and SSB fandoms they run rampant! If the fic is not humor, then I don't like Snake sterotypes. Is it really that hard to look up the character's personality before writing about them? I mean its so easy! Lack of villain representation: Villains; some of the greatest, badass, most unforgettable characters of all time are mostly underrepresented in fics of their own. In SSB, the characters that get their own fics are usually the heroes like Link, Samus, etc, and the villains like Ganondorf and Bowser don't get squat. The situation in the MGS fandom is bad too (though its small and lacking in traffic) There is very little fics that star Liquid Snake or Revolver Ocelot, but the situation is worse for Liquid than Ocelot. If you go to fandoms like DMC, FFVII and RE you'll find that their villains get a lot more fics than the ones in SSB or MGS. What I'd give for the day to come when there is much more villain fics. sighs I can only dream of that day. Anonymous Reviewers: Originally I didn't mind anonymous reviewers, but since I got some ignorant review from an anonymous reviewer my views on them have changed. The only words that can describe anonymous reviewers who just go around and leave obnoxious flames are pathetic, immature and despicable. There's a lot of other words out there I could use to describe flamers, but I've refrained from using them.
