Real Name: Yeah, like I'm going to tell you!

Age: Old enough to know better, yet, still young enough to do it anyways! XD

Hobbies: fishing, writing stories for you folks to read, and brushing my cats' fur; I have three!

YouTube Name: TheCatWhispurrer (as one word) - what else would I use? XD

Comments: Yes, I'm a guy who likes writing about the Powerpuff Girls. Does that make me a sissy? Well, consider this, a GUY created them to begin with! Also, there's a great artist and comic writer, pen-named Bleedman, who's a GUY that created a Doujinshi about the girls as well. So no I do not believe it makes me a sissy to write about them.

Besides, I'm only doing it to A) improve my typing skills so I can get a better job and B) because it gives me something to do besides sitting on my backside watching television all day. I mean, television has really gotten STUPID lately and to make matters worse, so has animation. I find myself with the T.V. off more often and on the computer writing stories for you nice folks to read. Sorry for this small rant, but I needed to get it off my chest.

P.S. As if the name doesn't already tell you, I really like cats, a die-hard ailurophile.

How and why I got my start in writing for the Powerpuff Girls:

One Year Later -

Three streaks of light pierced through the early morning sky. One streak was a light blue and leading the other two. A pink streak of light closely tailed the blue one with a pale green one taking a close third.

“Bubbles, what’s the big hurry? He isn’t going anywhere” called Blossom from the pink streak of light.

“I know, Blossom, but I don’t want to be late either” replied Bubbles from within the blue light.

“Blossom, do you have any idea as to what this is all about?” inquired Buttercup within the pale green light.

“A good friend lost a loved one a year ago today and Bubbles wants to pay her respects” Blossom explained to her raven-haired sister.

Meanwhile, Bubbles had stopped and began her decent to a small gravesite with her sisters quickly following suit.

Blossom slowly reached out and cleared away some vines and debris from the small gravestone and read aloud to the others, “Buster.”

“I don’t get it; who’s Buster?” questioned Buttercup in a hushed voice.

“A cat and probably one of our greatest, if not one of the most unique, fans ever” Bubbles replied as she knelt down in front of the stone.

“You’re going to explain this one to us, right?” inquired Buttercup with mild disbelief as she knelt down beside her blonde sister with their red-haired sister kneeling down to Bubbles’ right.

“You all know TCW, right?” asked Bubbles starting off the story.

“The Cat Whispurrer, sure what about him?” replied Blossom with a smile.

“Well, Buster was his cat. Many years ago, Buster was living with some folks who couldn’t afford to really take care of him when he got sick. TCW took Buster in from those folks and began caring for him. Unfortunately, Buster had developed an upper-respiratory infection that sank down into the lower parts of his lungs and began to cause his lungs to deteriorate” Bubbles said as she began the story.

“What, well that’s just terrible” exclaimed Blossom heatedly.

“Please, don’t interrupt, Blossom. Anyways, it had gotten to a point where they could either pay for a super expensive surgery to remove the diseased sections of Buster’s lungs or have him euthanized. The dice were cast and the decision was that Buster be put to sleep, but Buster wasn’t ready to go! TCW’s parents turned to him, explained the situation, and left the final decision for him to make. He took a chance and had the surgery done. Buster pulled through the ordeal with flying colors, but he suddenly lacked interest in anything.

“TCW tried toys, catnip, even those special videos they make for entertaining animals with, but Buster seemed uninterested. It was as though TCW had put Buster through such an ordeal only for him to lay to waste in depression.

“One day, after finally giving up on getting Buster to play, TCW sat down on his bed beside Buster and began to flip through the channels on his TV to find something to watch. Buster was disinterested in everything offered until TCW stopped on this one station. Suddenly, Buster was up and wide awake, paying close attention to the flashes of light and the swooshing sounds! Uncertain but thrilled that Buster had finally found something of interest, TCW stopped to watch as well” Bubbles said and gave pause to catch her breath.

“So what was on?” encouraged Buttercup excitedly.

“Are you ready for this? It was us! Buster was very interested in us! Naturally, TCW was a bit put-off by this, I mean really, what guy wouldn’t be? But seeing the excitement in Buster’s eyes, TCW endured and trudged through. Thinking it was merely a fluke incident, the next day, at the same time, TCW turned the television back on to the same station and sure enough, we were on. Once again, Buster was attentive and ceased his lethargic behavior to watch us on the television.

“This went by for weeks on end, when one day, while out running errands, TCW kept checking the time.

‘What’s wrong, have you got to take a pill?’ TCW’s mother inquired sarcastically.

‘No, but it’s almost time for Buster’s program to come on and I don’t want to disappoint him’ replied TCW as he stared out the window.

‘Honestly, I think you’re just using him as an excuse to watch the Powerpuff Girls yourself’ his mother reprimanded him as they walked up the path to their front door.

Unlocking the door and entering the house, they were quickly met by Buster who meowed at them and turned around to head back to TCW’s room. Her curiosity aroused, TCW’s mother followed and, no sooner had TCW turned the TV on, Buster took up center position on the bed to watch us.

‘I stand corrected, he really does like to watch the Powerpuff Girls’ exclaimed TCW’s mother with amusement.

A couple of weeks later, and TCW’s father had managed to beat them home only to met at the door by Buster who intently kept meowing at him, running to TCW’s room, running back to meowing at him, and back to the bed. Unsure of what Buster was so intent about, TCW’s father met the two at the door and inquired as to what was bothering the cat.

‘You’ll have to see it to believe it’ TCW’s mother said in response and went to TCW’s room, turned on the television and let the man stand in the door, flabbergasted, while watching Buster watch us on television” Bubbles told her sisters and stopped to chuckle.

“Whoa, who’d have ever believed that cat would be amongst our most loyal fans” exclaimed Buttercup in amazement.

“Yes, well, through Buster’s healthy times and sick times he would watch us on television till they removed our show from the line-up. That was when TCW began writing stories about us. One year ago, Buster’s health took a turn for the worse. TCW and his parents did their absolute best to keep Buster going. While at a Walgreens store, TCW found our movie on DVD and purchased it for Buster to watch. They sat down upon his bedside and, try as he might, Buster just couldn’t keep up with the movie and fell asleep.

‘It’s alright, we’ll watch it again once you’re all better’ TCW said to Buster while stroking the cat.

Buster suffered an aneurism early the following morning. They rushed him to the emergency veterinary clinic, but there was nothing that could be done to save him at that point, so they let him go. Three days later, and our 10th anniversary episode played, but Buster wasn’t there to see it. Another week later and TCW purchased our series on DVD from off the internet; it was originally to be a special surprise for Buster, but, you know.

“The DVDs arrived on a Wednesday, the following Sunday, TCW sat down to watch the shows, I mean, he did purchase them to watch them. The other cats that were upon TCW’s bed cleared away and, all while he sat there watching us, the other cats avoided and would occasionally stare at the front center of TCW’s bed. TCW signed off the first DVD for the night and just as he went to turn off the lights, there was a small meow from the middle of his bed, where no cat could be seen” Bubbles finished as she gave pause to wipe away a tear.

“So then, even though he wasn’t there physically to watch our shows, Buster was there nonetheless” Blossom said in wonder as she gave a slight involuntary shudder.

“Spooky, but true, and the main thing of it is, to this day whenever TCW pops our DVDs into the player to watch them, Buster takes center position and watches till it’s time to turn off the lights” Bubbles said as she placed a single light blue rose upon Buster’s gravestone, with Blossom placing a pink rose down and finally letting Buttercup place an orange rose upon the marker.

With that they bowed their heads in a moment of silence and soon flew away, back towards their own home. The lone figure of The Cat Whispurrer stood a respectful distance away and slowly lifted a hand to wave both in farewell and thanks to the Powerpuff Girls. A small whisp of winter wind swirled past hiss legs and the figure of a cat materialized to watch the Girls leave and just as quickly as he appeared, Buster left.
