I mainly write in the InuYasha universe, though I have begun dabbling in various crossover realms... possibly in preparation for writing in those fandoms.

I am a fan of many anime, games and manga. Right now, my favorite anime/manga include Detective Conan, Sailor Moon (always a goodie) and Slayers, just to name the other top three. My favorite games include the Zelda, Final Fantasy and Tales series. My favorite non-animated series are Dollhouse, Firefly and Castle... and Power Rangers (MMPR-verse)

I have a strong infatuation with dragons (preferably in the D&D realm) and you'll often see them pop up in my work - along with a weird obsession with zombies (screw vampires!). If I could, I would live in a realm of fantastical, mythological romance and adventure.

I promise you that I will never leave a story unfinished. There may be dry spells (I work a minimum of 40 hours a week and have incredibly unrelenting health issues) but they will be finished.
I love to chat with my reviewers. If you have questions, comments, or even flames feel free to leave me a message. I like to hear all sides of a discussion, though I am a debater, so if you flame me, expect me to respond.

Most of all, I love constructive criticism. From grammar to word-choice to characterization, I am always willing to entertain comments and critiques. I may not always agree with them, but I love to hear them. I can always grow as a writer (any author who believes otherwise is deluded, to be blunt) and cannot do so without the encouragement of my readers. I'm not always correct, nor will I pretend to be. My readers have often corrected things I overlook in my haste to post or even common mis-conceptions.

On a more personal level, I live in Miami with my husband and have a cat, though I am a major animal lover and adore anything fuzzy and cuddleable and would have more if I had more room. I am a writer by trade (journalist, not novelist, sadly enough) and a reader by choice.

SHIPS

InuYasha - I'm a strong canon-shipper. You'll rarely, if ever, see me stray outside Inu/Kag, Mir/San and Kagu/Sess. Occasionally I'll write Rin/Sess, but it will be where Rin is grown. I tend to see her more in the daughter role than as a lover. As of Fall '09, I've slowly begun stepping out of my comfort zone, beginning with writing my Mir/Kag (of sorts) fic "Waiting With You" for LuxKen27. I've also begun to appreciate SOME Sess/Kag fics... but I'm very picky. I don't appreciate fics that character-bash in an attempt to get non-canon couples together.

MMPR - TOMMY/KIM FOREVER. And Ever. And Ever. They don't belong with anybody else flails As for the others... grins I'm kind of a mix-and-match girl, though I'm a major fan of Trini/Jason and Trini/Billy. Kat/Jason is also an intriguing combination, as Aisha/Rocky is fun.

Stories I Am Working On:
"30 Pieces of a Pack" - An InuYasha/Miroku Friendship fic collection set in the "Pack Law" universe. 500 years is a long time, especially to a human learning to live in a youkai-ruled society. As InuYasha's beta, Miroku will try to temper the hanyou irritable attitude (yeah, good luck!) and learn to be a subordinate... while remaining a true friend. These are written for the 30 Shards Community on LiveJournal (friendship/drama/comedy)

"Bitter" - My MMPR/IY crossover. Forced into a servitude she does not understand, Kimberly finds herself cut off from her past. 10 years later, she is in need of help; the past catches up with the present to take on an evil the Rangers could never expect. Kim/Tommy - IY Canon couples (action/drama/comedy)

"Control. Infirmity. Defiance." - A divergence story set right during the manga chapter "Light," Kagome is able to save Kikyou before she dies. But there's a catch - now Kikyou must remain with the group... and Kagome finds herself without her miko strength. Can she find any control in her life? Even more surprising... Sesshoumaru suddenly joins the group and is being quite evasive. What's his purpose... and who could break through that cold mask? (drama/angst/romance/adventure)

"Eight-Fold Path" - A Mir/San post-canon fic, each chapter is based on prompts from the mirsan_fics community on LiveJournal. Miroku comes home from an exorcism with a son from years past. The innocent reminder of a not-so-innocent path sparks tensions between the couple and reveals much of Miroku's dark and unknown past as he strives to find his way back to the proper path. (angst/drama)

"Ride On" - An Inu/Kag AU High School fic written based on a series of prompts from the un_love_you community on LiveJournal. Both Kagome and InuYasha are struggling to find where they belong in a world where they're far more different than expected. This is my true first attempt at a serial, so pay close attention to the dates at the top of each chapter! (comedy/romance)

"The Neighbor" - Written for the SFX challenge at the firsttweak community on LiveJournal, "The Neighbor" is an Inu/Kag AU fic. There are nine prompts in total. (comedy/romance)

"Wiped Clean" - A collection of short crossover fics in the Dollhouse/InuYasha universe. This collection will primarily be built with prompts from iy_themes on LiveJournal.

Finished Stories:
"Pack Law" - A divergence from the end of the manga, what if Kagome's arrow re-broke the jewel instead of piercing it? The quest continues to replace the jewel and rid the world of it... but before they can finish the job, the well mysteriously stops working... Inu/Kag, Mir/San, Sess/OC. I am currently planning at least a sequel, if not two or three, focusing on other areas of InuYasha and Kagome's lives together, and fleshing out the OCs introduced in this first story.

Waiting In The Wings (these are stories that may appear at any time... thus, titles and premises may change!):
"Kitten" - Connected one-shots focusing on Kirara. Written for the 30 Shards Community on LiveJournal (multi-genre)

"Falling" - A divergence story set in the anime universe. Kagome is brutally injured and stuck in the Sengoku Jidai after making a quick wish on the Shikon to save the lives of her friends. As her friends rally to raise her from a deep depression, an ancient foe rises, preparing to strike down the sons of his father's old enemy... (adventure/romance/drama/angst)

"Back To You" - Set in the canon universe, in the last chapter of the manga, this story focuses on InuYasha and Kagome as they struggle to live three years without each other... trying to fit into their own worlds. What will bring them back to each other? (drama, angst, romance)

"Truth" - A follow-up to a drabble in my drabble collection, this AU Inu/Kag piece will be written and posted simultaneously with "Lies" (points down). (drama/angst/romance)

"Lies" - A companion piece to "Truth" (points up), focusing on the Sesshoumaru/Kikyou aspect of the story.

"Reshaping Fear" - a canon Inu/Kag piece based off of the six prompts for the "Shapes" challenge at firsttweak on LiveJournal.
