Preferred fandoms: Generally you can find me prowling the archives for Teen Titans, Mai-HiME, Doctor Who, Avatar: The Last Airbender (since that movie stole the short name I have to be specific) and Kingdom Hearts, but sometimes I venture outside those. I mostly just stick to those because I've found a higher concentration of good writers in those particular fandoms.

Ships I sail: BB/Rae, Akira/Takumi, Kataang. I pretty much read every het pairing in the Kingdom Hearts fandom aside from the outrageously crack pairings.

I don't have a MySpace, Facebook, Twitter or any other site like that, and if you think you've found me there, you're wrong.

Random things about me: I absolutely love it when I find a well written, thought-provoking story, but I also love fluffy, humorous ones.

I love my reviewers. I accept anonymous reviews, but I would prefer it if you'd sign up/ sign in before reviewing. I don't bite; not from back here, it's too far. (As added incentive: If you leave a signed review, you are guaranteed a thank you.)

I am not kidding in the least when I say that I squeal with joy if someone favorites one of my stories. Especially if someone adds me to their favorite authors--you people are too sweet!

If I dislike a story, I prefer to say nothing, rather than comment on how much I didn't like it.

Spelling
Ladies, gentlemen, androids and variations thereupon, I beg of you: Learn to spell! Get a vocabulary! Please?
All words listed below are Teen Titans specific ones I have seen misspelled in stories.

1. Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos. Not Azerath. Not Metreon. Not Xinthos, Zynthos, Zinthose or Zenthos.
2. Komand'r. Also known as Blackfire, evil older sister of Starfire (Koriand'r).
3. Tamaran. Not Tameran or Tamaram.
4. Tamaranean. Not 'Tamaranian'.
5. Rae. Not Rea.

Grammar and Punctuation
I would like to introduce you all to my friend, the semi-colon. Semicolon looks like this ;
Semicolon is a long forgotten punctuation mark in the world of fan fiction. Semicolon is meant to be used when the thought in a sentence changes slightly. Two closely related independent clauses should be linked by a semicolon. Example: "I went to the swimming pool; I was told it was closed for routine maintenance."
Semicolon has been feeling neglected lately, and would love to get to know all of you. :/

Another thing: When there is an apostrophe between the main word and the S on the end, that makes the word possessive. (This is not the case in "its" and "it's."This is the exception to the rule. "It's" is short hand for "it is" or "it has," whereas "its" is the possessive form. This is the only case where this applies) So, for instance, writing "eye's" indicates that something belonged to the eye. In some cases, that may be the correct thing, depending on the context, but if you're trying to pluralize, you want it to be "eyes."

Flamers
I have been fortunate enough to not receive any flames on my stories. Personally, I wouldn't care if someone did, because it just shows that the person has way too much time on their hands. I don't really see the point of flaming stories. I mean, if you hate the pairing, the character, or the writer that much, why are you even reading the story? Let it go and grow up.

Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.

Other Pairings
Teen Titans
Robin / Starfire - Yes, I support them together but they've been written so many ways already. I don't generally read a lot of Rob/Star fiction.
Cyborg / Anyone, really - I have issues with trying to fit Cyborg into a pairing. Too many variables!
Kid Flash / Jinx - I really do like this one. It really isn't touched on a whole lot in the series, so there's lots of room for imagination.
Beast Boy / Terra - It was good while it lasted. I liked this one a lot, and I really felt bad for Beast Boy in the final episode. Yes, I am a BB/Rae shipper who actually likes Terra!! WOW!
Robin / Raven - No. Just no. This is wrong on too many levels! Oh my goodness. I could go on and on. I prefer to see them as more of brother and sister. Even maybe a twin thing, since they have that mental connection sort of thing going on.

Personal Pet Peeves
It drives me insane to see a guide at the top of a chapter as to how to interpret different ways dialogue is presented. I see it all the time, and personally I find it to be a bit of a turn off because it makes me wonder "Are they so bad at descriptions that they can't make this clear in the body of the story?"

Or whatever should not be necessary. Bring that out through the way you phrase things. I promise that not all people on this site are morons; most of us will be able to figure it out if you say something like

"I can't believe it, she thought."

It's really not that hard.

For the love of all that is good and holy, learn to stay in one tense. Past, present, future, I don't care! Just pick one and stick with it. Go find one of those "Sink, sank, sunk" style tense guides if you must. Here, I'll even give you one!
