IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Right now, I am an admin. in Asiera's Yu-gi-oh: You've Got Questions, We've Got Answers forum. Due to time constraints, we are looking for authors that would be willing to play some of the characters. If it sounds enjoyable and you're up for it, by all means audition! I can guarantee it's a whole lot of fun!

And onto everything else:

I don't know why I ever lost track of Yu-gi-oh, but I'm back now! Most of my stories will relate to Bakura (Ryou) and Yami Bakura, since I have the best grasp on them over any other characters.

I promise, even if it takes me months to get back to a story, I will not let one go unfinished. I just got done with finals, (Straight A's! I'm so happy!) so I might just be updating a lot more often.

Random stuff about me...let's see. Well, I'm an avid Bakura fangirl, and I love role playing games of all types. Aside from RPGs, I'm still a serious gamer, and I never pass up a challenge! Music is very important to me, and I'll usually be humming or singing. Silence just feels dead, so I need a bit of sound.

I'm freakishly like Bakura sometimes. I share his clumsiness, a bit of his personality, and even his birthday. Unfortunately, I also have a darker side that most people never see, but it's there. Some events just make me lose my temper, and I always regret when it happens. It's something I wish most people never have to see...

Lately, after my friend's insistence and hearing it mentioned several times by other people I know, I have been into Death Note. So. Freaking. AMAZING! Suspense, tragedy, humor...it's everything all wrapped up in one place and it is awesome! Let's see...my favorite characters right now are L, Near, and Ryuk. Most people hate Near, but not me! Maybe it's a white-hair thing...I don't know. I like his attitude.

I keep all my review replies and PMs. Your guys' opinions really mean a lot to me, and I like to remember things that you've said or mentioned.

I am definitely a dreamer. I'm always thinking about things that could happen, things I've wished for, and who I can be. One of my latest dreams is becoming a voice actress, while at the same time, I'm studying to become a music teacher.

Writing

My writing style varies depending on the genre of story I'm writing for. I can't explain it too well, except I make a conscious effort to make a humorous story feel vastly different from an angsty fic.

I try my very hardest to keep all characters in-character. Ignoring their personalities and characteristics just doesn't feel right. They are who they are for certain reasons, and I will not consciously rip their very souls away.

On the topic of Mary Sues/Gary Stus/OCs: I will never have a non-canon character take over a story. It destroys the point for me. We've all grown accustomed to the main characters, so I will keep them as main characters. Most of my OCs only show up briefly when I need someone in a certain situation. They usually aren't very important either.

When it comes to grammar, I re-read through chapters and spell check, looking for anything wrong. I'm somewhat obsessed when it comes to grammar and spelling. If you see something wrong, please tell me!

Dislikes:

Spiders. Ugh...no!

Needles. A couple examples, both dealing with blood tests. The first time, I got sick and nearly passed out. The second time, I went from panicked to calm to laughing hysterically before bursting into tears. I can't stand needles!!

Falling, not heights. I can handle rollercoasters. I'm securely strapped in. What scares me is being at some height I can fall from and sustain injury. Therefore, I don't like ladders either...

Too much homework!

Alarm clocks: They always wake me up during the good dreams...

Political correctness. There's too much screwed up in the world without us having to worry about how someone wants to be referred to.

Money-hungry people. Money does not make the world go 'round, and too many people are willing to screw someone else over just to get it.

Cell-phone obsessiveness. I don't mind if someone talks on their cell phone a lot. What gets me is when I'm trying to do my job and I can't because I'm being ignored because my customer is on his or her phone. I try my best to be considerate to them. I wish they could just return the favor...

People who are never satisfied or look for any possible little reason to complain.

Impatient people.
