Author has written 25 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Pride and Prejudice, and Final Fantasy I-VI. Hey, all. LGold here. So, I write pretty much exclusively for the Buffyverse, but I'm also into the Harry Potter and Discworld fandoms. I'll read more or less anything that's good quality. At the moment I'm doing a personal Fic100 - a series of 100 short fanfics (250-1.5k words) based off a series of prompts. I don't have a preferred character to write for, mainly because I enjoy exploring various characters in ways I haven't considered before, and I'm trying to spread my fics over a variety of characters. I'll read, as I said, almost anything that I find good or intriguing, regardless of character or pairing. I do original writing, but have undertaken a solemn vow never to include an original character in my fanfic - at least not as a main character. I'm also unlikely to stray into AUs, (with the exception of Passing/Thunder, a short Riley two-part AU which LOL I HAVE NO IDEA) so if you enjoy fanfic that stays canon, or very close to canon - and particularly if you like writing that focuses on the characters you love themselves - you're likely to enjoy my writing. As a result, almost all of my pieces are spoilery. I've occasionally included a warning where spoilers are particularly heavy or for a particular episode, but if in doubt, assume a story contains spoilers. Reviews are always appreciated (No, really, always) but if you just want to read, it's enough for me to know that that's happening =P 28.06.12: Thunder and lightning! Did yez think I was dead? I'm currently part way through a Buffy rewatch with the lovely Esashar (to whom I direct any Naruto fans out there) which is sparking all sorts of inspiration for my temporarily-abandoned fic100, and I've just finished high school so I have about three months now with very little to do but work on it! And now I've written this, hopefully I'll feel guilty enough to actually do so... So stay tuned for some new short fics! Latest: Christmas. So, when I think of Buffy and “Christmas,” what I think of is Amends, and for some reason what I latched onto was Buffy asking Angel whether he was Christmas-shopping. The result: this.
