Author has written 1 story for James Bond.

The Ghost of a Chance is to date my only fan-fiction but I thoroughly enjoyed writing it so will be doing another at some point.

It's present-day movie-style thrills written in, hopefully, an acceptably Fleming-esque manner without me trying to copy his style (I don't pretend to be clever enough). For those who've read the books, it's similar to Christopher Wood's 'The Spy Who Loved Me' novelisation. (I also think it's better than Sebastian Faulks' effort, but of course I am biased. )

I've thrown in all my favourite stuff, partly because you write about what you know but mainly because I'm writing the Bond I would want to read. But maybe that's why as yet I have pitifully few reviews...

Oh - I think I am obliged to say I don't own any copyrights of any of the stock characters nor the 007 'formula'. Hopefully this is obvious, but just in case, there it is. So don't go selling this for huge wadges of cash. Well, not without telling me first anyway.

Hope someone out there likes it - please leave any comments, good or bad, under 'Reviews'.

Thanks for your time,

Alexander Turnbull.
