I'm ArcanineOod, and you may already have guessed that my favourite fanfictions are Pokemon and Doctor Who! Woohoo! Though actually, I love Sonic the Hedgehog as well, but I couldn't get it to fit in my name without it sounding weird! =D
A little bit about me to start off with.
I'm English. I'm female. I'm a nice person. I would say I'm quite clever. I'm modest most of the time. Pokemon, Sonic and Doctor Who govern my life. I'm a little bit strange, as you may have already guessed. But I'm not a nerd/geek (come to think of it, I probably am, but hey, that's not a bad thing, right?). I love smiling. In fact, I'm nearly always smiling. =D
When it comes to pairings, I'm definitely more of a hetero fan. However, some yaoi pairings are okay-ish, though I am iffy about Yuri.

Billie Piper is my idol... She's so awesome!

I've got loads of ideas, in fact, my notebook is chock full of them! Unfortunately, I've got coursework and homework etc, meaning they won't all get written. Some of them are just plain stupid, others are ok, and some are pretty darn good.

I'm focusing on Sonic right now, though I have some ideas for pokemon fics staring the king of the contest stage, HARLEY! w00t!

I may not write an introduction story for my Sonic OCs. If I do, it'll be after my Taismo story which they'll appear in. Edit: An OC story! It's not the story of how they came to be on Earth, just showing their lives and personalities, but whatever! A proper intro story is in the works.

I have deleted 'A Great Sendoff' because it is the biggest piece of tosh I have ever read. It's just stupid.
I have also deleted 'PikaPi! Trans: It's another Ash/Misty Fanfic!' because it's terrible. It was the first bit of fanfiction I ever wrote, but that doesn't mean I'm emotionally attached to it. It's a piece of... rubbish. I may rewrite it, but this is highly unlikely considering how busy I am these days. I apologise to anyone who liked it, but I simply cannot stand that abomination being here anymore.
Edit: So earlier today I started trying to rewrite it. Gee, why did no one tell me how crummy it was? Oh wait, you did... =( Aaanyway, I don't think it's possible to rescue it from the pit of Godawful fanfiction... I'm surprised it was never mentioned on that site, actually. I realise it's terrible. Truly terrible. I'll try my best to save it, but the future looks bleak for the worst AAML I've ever read...

Bear with me on this one.
I may write a really basic story in Latin. Just for practice, seeing as I'm taking it for GCSE.

Taismo - I think Tails loved Cosmo, whereas he and Cream are just friends. After all, Cream's only six years old!
I like Sonaze too, although it's not my favourite pairing for either of them. I prefer Silvaze =)

I pretty much support anything canon, bar SonElise. As far as I'm concerned, her annoying crush wasn't reciprocated.
So for that reason, I support both Knuxouge and Shadouge, although I prefer Kuxouge, and Bigouge simply pwns both of them, not for canon reasons, of course.

I hate from Sonic:
Sonic/Elise. Just don't go there. I hate it sooo much.
Sonic/Sally. I know that beyond SEGA, it's canon. But I am a SEGA gal. Also, she just annoys me.
I'm not a big fan of Sonic with anyone but Amy.
Anything which contains Chris T. That fanboy is so annoying!

My favourite friendshippy pairings: pairings that I think of more as being like the love between siblings or best friends.

Teddie the Bear

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Alignment: Good

Teddie is a brown bear the same height as Big the Cat but with a body shape more like Vector; strong, muscled, etc. Small, round ears, brown outside, dark red inside. Brown, furry body with a ring on his chest that is the same as Knuckles' only dark red.
Likes eating, but exercises a lot to stay in shape. Mostly easy-going but when you get on his bad side... look out!
He hangs around with Maia the Hedgehog a lot.

Mitchell the Hedgehog

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Alignment: Neutral/Dark

Mitchell is a dark red hedgehog a bit taller than Sonic.
He's got a fiery temper to match his fur colour.
He's mean, selfish, uninterested in anything weak. A bit like Paul from pokemon.
Don't mention the nose. It's bright turquoise, and if you mention it, He'll get seriously annoyed. Same with his small, fluffy, turquoise tail.

Sidney the Hedgehog

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Alignment: Good

He's a turquoise hedgehog, and he's Mitchell and Maia's younger brother. More fun loving and carefree than his siblings, Sidney's nearly always smiling. Easy to like and easy to make friends with. He's got yellow undertones, a yellow nose and a small, fluffy, yellow tail.
He wants to be a rock star or a major sporting hero.

Maia the Hedgehog (My-a)

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Alignment: Good

Maia is a purple hedgehog, and is the older sister of Mitchell and Sidney.
Unlike her brothers, she is more down to earth and serious. However, she's still quite friendly.
She's the only one Mitchell respects.
She has dark blue undertones, a dark blue nose and a small, fluffy, dark blue tail.
She loves hanging with her friend Teddie!

Jacqueline the Hedgehog (Jack-uh-lin)

Age: 32

Gender: Female

Alignment: Neutral

Jacqueline's an electric blue hedgehog, and the mother of Maia, Sidney and Mitchell.
She became a mother at the age of sixteen, although you wouldn't believe it, looking at her now. Down to earth, level headed and intellectual, you'd think she was the perfect role model. Despite her history, others respect her due to the massive turnaround from her teenage days of stupidity. She has pink undertones.
She's a teacher of Physics, but is also interested in history.

Age: 10

She is known as the younger sister of MightNight. Their father was a wolf, their mother a hyena. She is pink with black spots and has light blue eyes. She wears a purple dress, light blue gloves and shoes, and a light blue headband.

Alignment: Neutral

She has red/orange fur with darker reddish brown intermittent highlights.The tips of her large ears are black with a few dark pink highlights. She has sea-green eyes.The soles of her paws are black and her claws are purple.
Wildfire’s large ears allow her to hear extremely quiet conversation very clearly. She uses this power to spread rumours and gossip. She’s obsessed with gossip and can always be relied on to get the latest scoop. She’s the head of the school magazine, distributed termly for the small price of just 50 pence.
It is said that she will do anything to get the latest story and is therefore extremely untrustworthy. It is also said that no secrets are safe when she is around. Many believe that she will become a journalist, but she keeps the secret of her real career wish.

Chalie the Seedrian (Chay-lee)

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Alignment: Good

Chalie is a red Seedrian. She looks just like Cosmo does in her final episode; when her hair is longer and stuff, but Chalie's hair isn't as long as that, nor are the flowers on her head in bloom. Not as tall as that either, but still taller than Cosmo, more serious than her and red rather than green.
In my stories, she’s Cosmo’s best friend. She is definetely much more cool than Cosmo, but she doesn’t really care that Cosmo’s not the most popular girl. If anyone says anything bad about Cosmo, she’s quick to rebuke them. She likes good looking guys, and cannot understand Cosmo's crush on Tails, but still supports her. She is a true friend.

Luca the Fox (loo-ca)

Age: 12

Gender: Male

Alignment: Good

He is a brownish/grey fox, with a large bushy tail which has a white tip.
He’s the close friend of Tails and Cream, and has a huge crush on Cream. He is really quite romantic, but he hides this because he wants to be seen as cool.
He often pokes fun at Tails, but it’s always a joke. He doesn’t like others to diss him or Cream.
No matter how many times Cream rejects him, he always tries to get her to go out with him.
He can’t understand Tails’ crush on Cosmo, but he still supports him.

Nenine the Falcon (neh-neen)

Age:12

Gender: Female

Alignment: Neutral

A teal feathered falcon who loves to hear the latest gossip. She’s a little bit ditzy at times, and is often overshadowed by her twin sister, Arnine.

Arnine the Falcon (ah-neen)

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Alignment: Neutral

A yorkie blue falcon who thinks she is better than anyone else. She loves hearing the latest gossip. She is quite clever, and often uses this to dominate her twin sister, Nenine. She thinks she’s always right. She’s a bully to anyone considered ‘uncool’ such as Tails, Cream and Cosmo.

Storcha the Hedgehabbit

Age: 12

Alignment: Neutral

She has orange fur and quills, and also has long orange rabbit ears. Her eyes are green.
She wears a purple hairband, short black shorts, a low cut maroon tracksuit style, sleeveless top. Her gloves reach up to her elbows, and are white with purple at the end. She wears large black boots.
She looks down on most people, but she is nice to some. She likes to date lots of guys, and is never one to be tied down to one serious relationship.
She’s pretty nosy, and her dream is to date the hottest guys in school.

Morion the Wolf (Mo-ry-uhn)

Age:12

Gender: Male

Alignment: Neutral

Morion is a taller than average wolf with smoky grey/black fur. His muzzle is a lighter grey.
He is extremely good looking and all the girls fancy him. He seems pretty nice, but is very superficial and arrogant, meaning he won't hang around with anyone who would ruin his image.

Praia the Rabbit (Pry-a)

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Alignment: Neutral

Praia is a black rabbit with pink eyes.
She is a big fan of colour, and often dresses monochromatically depending on her mood and what she is doing that day.For some reason, her hair colour always matches what she’s wearing.
She’s nearly always nice.

Missie the Echibbit

Age:9

Gender: Female

Alignment: Neutral

Missie is a yellow furred cross between an Echidna and a Rabbit. She has large, floppy yellow ears and short yellow dreadlocks. She has pink eyes and claws.
She wears a short pink dress, long pink gloves, pretty pink sandals, over the knee white, pink, green and purple banded socks and a purple hairband with a pink heart on it. She also wears a gold heart locket and sometimes a pink bow on her left ear.
Her favourite colour is pink, and she’s always gleeful. She’s very nice, but is easily distracted by something pink or shiny.

Scarlett the Hedgehog

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Scarlett is a scarlett coloured hedgehog. She has bright yellow eyes.
I'm undecided as whether to make her naughty or nice...

Okay, listen up. CS Lewis is hailed as one of the best authors of all time; indeed, 'The Chronicles of Naria' are hugely famous across the globe!
Do not take what you are about to read the wrong way, Lewis' books are beyond pure genius; they're both passionate and moving, and they contain wonderful fastasy adventures, as well as the best metaphors for Christian belief I've ever seen, but consider for a moment this sentence from 'The Horse and His Boy', if you will:
'By the time Shasta had finished his porridge, the Dwarf's two brothers (whose names were Rogin and Bricklethumb) ...'
It may not be so clear to one who has not read the scene up to that point, but notice how Lewis doesn't describe the greetings between Shasta and the Dwarf's brothers. He simply puts their names in brackets. Of course, Lewis wanted to get on with the proper storyline, not spend valuable time, paper and ink writing out more than is necessary for said storyline to make sense and continue, however, he uses this dodging technique so frequently thoughout the Narnia series; I dare you, pick up a copy of 'The Horse and His Boy', and inside you will find that Lewis uses brackets an awful lot. Notice also that he neglects to use many synonyms of 'said', and that the word 'and' appears frequently where a more interesting sentence structure may have been used.
Of course, I do not for one moment intend to infer that his books should be avoided, indeed, my feelings are quite the opposite; I thoroughly reccomend these books to anyone and everyone! The languge used in his stories greatly influenced my own style, though without the use of so many brackets. However, I felt a wish to share my findings on Lewis with the world, or rather, whoever is inquisitive enough to visit my page and read though twelve lines of my criticism of renowned author.
Pray do not take me to be harsh, in fact, simply wonder at the glory of CS Lewis' talents; he lacks description and detail and the frequent use of brackets may be adverse to the reading enjoyment, yet see how renowned he is, how may people adore his works! The fact that he made his Narnia stories so magnificent and powerful that they remain so popular today regardless of the less refined manner in which it is written is wondrous indeed! It shows how glorious and timeless the stories are, and influences me to appreciate them, and their message, even more.
Oh and yes, that was I, ArcanineOod, who wrote that; though it seems a bit posh for a Sonic and Pokemon fan, I assure you that was all from my own mind. I seem to have taken inspiration from Pride and Prejudice, which I watched just the other night. The one starring Colin Firth as Mr Darcy, not the recent movie, which I have purposely neglected to watch. I do hope that this manner of speaking does not leak to the characters I write; you might find Amy Rose stealing Sonic's heart with the steryotypical English accent near enough!

Anyway, the message I wish to reiterate once more is this: Read The Chronicles of Narnia; they may change your outlook on life for the better, and you may just find yourself as well as a new favourite book series...
Of course, no guarantees (gak! Spelling?) about that. However, please give them a shot; they really are quite amazing.
