Welcome to my little corner of FanFiction.net and thank you for taking the time to read my stories! Obviously, I'm a fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender. For some reason unknown to me, Azula is my favorite character, and I enjoy seeing her paired with Katara or Ty Lee. Unfortunately, there are far too few fanfics out there with these pairings, so I decided to write some of my own (although not all of my fics involve or revolve around them). While I started out as a fan of Azutara, Tyzula has become my OTP. Heck, as far as I'm concerned, Tyzula is canon! However, Azutara continues to be my favorite crack pairing ;)

Story updates are slow going lately. My muse seems to have disappeared. :(

A couple notes about my fics as they stand now (11/18/09):

In Process:

Dreams of Glass: 24 chapters posted so far. 25th is in the works. A "what if" AU story starting during "Crossroads of Destiny" and continuing up until "Day of Black Sun."

Falling: 5 chapters posted so far, 6th is in process. A Tyzula story set during Book Three (starting at the end of "The Beach") and beyond. Not an AU.

The Princess and the Acrobat: 100 sentences and drabbles about Azula and Ty Lee. Eventually will total 250. Prompts from the 1sentence community over on LJ.

To Tread Lightning: 17 chapters and a prologue posted so far. The 18th is in process. Yet another "what if" AU fic. This time starting at the end of "The Boiling Rock" and continuing through to "Sozin's Comet" and beyond. This story is in response to a challenge set forth by AnimeFanGirlWrites4ever: What if Azula hadn't gone crazy in the final episode? What if she didn't banish everyone, and Zuko and Katara arrived to a whole nation rather than a few people?

What It Is To Burn: 32 chapters posted so far. 33rd is in the works. I know, I know. I'm becoming obsessed with "what if" AUs, but they're just so much fun. This one was inspired by some oekaki sketches I saw on deviantART by kitsuK8: "Good Azula" and "Evil Zuko." I promptly was attacked by plot bunnies and just had to flesh the idea out. A couple people have asked about pairings for this fic. There are a two so far: Maiko and Yukka. However, romance is not a central focus of this story, but it does help tell the story. As for Azula being paired up? I haven't decided if she will be paired with anyone yet. I'm still leaning toward no. Chapters 1-28 encompass the Book One canon timeline.

Completed:

The Beach: My first Azula/Ty Lee one-shot. Tyzula is canon ;)

Destiny Altered: This was my first foray into writing fan fiction, and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. A post-finale fic. There are a couple spin-off ideas I have that will probably get written once I finish my other WIPs.

Interrogation: My first and probably only Azula/Suki fic. This was a bit difficult for me to write, but I wanted to try to delve into the darker side of Azula’s personality.

Never Seen Blue: An AU tale that takes place three years after the canon story was set. Romance, betrayal, angst, and some action thrown in for good measure. There will definitely be a sequel in the future, written from Katara's POV, entitled Shades of Gold.

Summer Haze: My first attempt at an Azula/Katara one-shot. I totally blanked on an appropriate title for this fic. Maybe a better title will come to me in the future.

Uncalm: My second Azula/Ty Lee one-shot. This was just an idea that popped in my head after watching "Crossroads of Destiny" for the millionth time. There wasn't really much of a "plot" in mind—just a dominant/submissive dynamic between the two characters. I've had this story laying around for awhile and finally decided to post it. It's a little smutty, but I wanted to try something different.

Whisper to Scream: A Hama/Kanna fic. Kind of a snapshot through the years type of story.

Aang: That cloud looks like a fluffy bunny.

Sokka: Do you even hear yourself?

Mai: I thought you ran off and joined the circus? You said it was your calling.
Ty Lee: Well, Azula called a little louder.

Aang: Alright, you've caught up with me. Now who are you and what do you want?
Azula: You mean you haven't guessed? You don't see the family resemblance? Here's a hint. (Covers her eye with her hand and imitates Zuko's voice.) "I must find the Avatar to restore my honor." It's okay. You can laugh. It's funny.

Zuko: I know what you're going to say: she's my sister, and I should be trying to get along with her.
Iroh: No, she's crazy, and she needs to go down.

Sokka: Okay, karma person or thing, whoever's in charge of this stuff. If I can just get out of this situation alive, I will give up meat and sarcasm.

Sokka: Aang, this is my friend Foo Foo Cuddlypoops. Foo Foo Cuddlypoops, Aang.

Katara:You've been hallucinating on cactus juice all day, and then you just lick something you find stuck to the wall of a cave?
Sokka: I have a natural curiosity.

Azula: I can see your whole history in your eyes. You were born with nothing. So you had to struggle and connive and claw your way to power. But true power—the divine right to rule—is something you're born with. The fact is, they don't know which one of us is going to be sitting on that throne and which one is going to be bowing down. But I know. And you know.

Guru Pathik: (in Aang's hallucination) Chakras, chakras, everybody loves chakras! Chakras, chakras... chakra sandwich tastes good, yum!

Aang: Where is he? Where is the Fire Lord?
Azula: Hm, you mean I'm not good enough for you? You're hurting my feelings.
Sokka: Stop wasting our time and give us the information. You're powerless right now, so you're in no position to refuse.
Toph: And stick to the truth. I'll be able to tell if you're lying.
Azula: Are you sure? I'm a pretty good liar. I am a 400 foot tall purple platypus bear with pink horns and silver wings.
Toph: Okay, you're good. I admit it.

Zuko: How are you going to get there? On Appa? Last time I checked, prisons don't have bison day cares.

Zuko: Sometimes clouds have two sides—a dark and light. And a silver lining in between. It's like a silver sandwich. So when life seems hard, take a bite out of the silver sandwich.

Azula: You're wasting your time. That's not one of them.
Warden: How do you know?
Azula: Because I'm a people person.
