And more often than not what I write is on the darker side, not sappy or fluffy, but I won't rule it out just because it hasn't happened yet; I'm sure I'm really a big softy at heart. Maybe... Anyway, I usually end up writing long stories (or at least starting them) because I want to involve myself deeply in that world with a good adventure, however I've recently been attempting to write shorter one-shots as well, purely to test my own abilities to make something self-contained and not necessarily with a huge sprawling plot that takes me ages to finish.
