Author has written 31 stories for One Piece, Gintama, and Avatar: Last Airbender. Hey all. If you are reading this, chances are that you have read and liked my stories, and for that I thank you greatly. I have never had much confidence in my writing, but it makes me glad that people are enjoying it. Hopefully as time goes on, my writing becomes better and more enjoyable to read. Now for a brief bit about me: Age: in my 20's Sex: male Location: a small town in Southern California, which I would love greatly to leave as soon as possible. Brief status update: I apologize greatly to those of you who have read and liked some of my One Piece fics, and are awaiting updates. I WILL be getting back into One Piece, as soon as I get over my taste for Avatar fics, which should encompass 5 more stories after the currently in progress ones. I will also be alternating between uploading stories here and at Deviant Art. The first story published there will be for the Luffy x Robin pairing, then seven drabbles for Ty Luko week. A few of the things I don't enjoy (see: dislike): bugs (spiders in particuar, but anything born with less than 2 or more than 4 legs fit the bill), heat, technology (when it doesn't work right), crime, and idiotic/obnoxious people. Favorite music: power metal (Masterplan, Helloween, Dragonforce, etc) and the cool symphonic stuff (Within Temptation, Xandria, Nightwish, etc). Manga I am reading currently: Gintama (when it actually gets updated), Darker Than Black: Shikkoku no Hana (Hei is one of the coolest characters in recent anime, if you ask me), One Piece, Air Gear, Tenjou Tenge, Girls Saurus DX, Veritas (Korean manhwa), Aflame Inferno (also Korean), Crimson Grave, Onihime VS (Japanese but with Korean artist), Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, AIKI, The World God Only Knows, and Beelzebub. Comics I'm following currently: Deadpool, Ms. Marvel, Nova, Guardians of the Galaxy, pretty much anything in Cosmic Marvel stable, Ghost Rider, Secret Six, Green Lantern/Corps., Blackest Night, and Detective Comics. All time favorite characters: Monkey D. Luffy, Nico Robin, Nojiko (One Piece), Hei, Yin (Darker Than Black), Deadpool (especially from the old run of comics), Richard Rider (Nova), Gamora (Marvel Comics), Gintoki, Kagura (Gintama), Silver Surfer, Bane (best Batman villain, in my opinion), Larfleeze (Green Lantern's Agent Orange), Zuko, Suki and Ty Lee (Avatar). Favorite video games: Tales of Phantasia (especially the PS1 version), Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII (would be better with an updated engine), Dark Chronicle (also known as Dark Cloud 2), Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time, Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Tales of the Abyss. Comics I would recommend (if you haven't read them, that is): 1. Nova - my personal favorite comic running at the moment. Richard Rider as Nova Prime is totally awesome, and I can't wait to see where he fits into the next big cosmic event. 2. Secret Six - awesome series with Bane and a group of other mercenaries. Much more entertaining than I had first expected. 3. Green Lantern - personally I like Kyle Rayner more than Hal Jordan, but after reading from 'Rage of the Red Lantern Corps' to 'Agent Orange' I was hooked on all things GL. All Time favorite animes: 1. Gundam X 2. Darker Than Black 3. One Piece 4. Black Lagoon 5. Outlaw Star Pairings I officially support: First I should state my opinion of fan-pairings in general. I personally only write for the ones I can justify to myself and see in my head as working out on some level. No taking complete opposites or bitter enemies and putting them together for me. If I write for a pairing, you can be sure that I have thought about it a little, and have at least some justification for it. Gintoki x Kagura - Gintama: this is an impossible pairing to ignore, in my opinion. Their chemistry is just unbelievably good, and maybe Kagura's devotion to Gintoki is not necessarily romantic, but it easily could be in my opinion. Plus, they just look so damn good together. Though, to be honest, my liking of Gintoki x Tsukuyo has been growing, so maybe I will have to find a way to make both work :P Luffy x Robin/Hancock/Nojiko - One Piece: somehow, I seem to like Luffy with the older girls more than the ones around his own age. Total weirdness. I think they each have a basic thing in common, the even headedness that someone like Luffy could definitely use to temper his youthful energy. Hancock has the edge on the others based on the fact that she has admitted she is nuts for Luffy, but there is definitely some speculative evidence that Robin has some affection for Luffy. Nojiko I just sort of got out of nowhere, and it grew on me. Hey, not all pairings make perfect sense :P Zuko x pretty much anyone - Avatar: the Last Airbender: blasphemy, right? But in this group, there are three pairings that I put a lot of support into, more than others anyway: 1. Zuko x Suki: completely out of nowhere, but after reading a few stories for the pairing, I was hooked, and now it is my favorite fan-pairing from the series. Getting past the fact that she is with Sokka, these two have some definite similarities, minus Sokka's overprotectiveness that would probably annoy Suki a lot of the time. Headaches of leadership, focus, warrior spirit, and they both have really fiery personalities. Plus, they just look good together. Not a major point for me, but it never hurts. 2. Zuko x Ty Lee: made me sad in the series finale that Ty Lee got like no love over the course of the series, and after watching 'The Beach' a second time, I really noticed some distinct signals coming from Ty Lee. Too bad for her Zuko is totally focused on Mai. Cheery, bubbly personality with lots of energy to balance out Zuko's tendencies for moodiness and being deathly serious all the time. 3. Zuko x Jin: canonical evidence seems to indicate that Zuko holds some feelings for this girl, even though he still ends up with Mai. Compassion, understanding and trust are all things that Jin seems to have, all of which Zuko needs lots of. Doesn't hurt that she's good looking to boot. Pairings I do not support/are completely indifferent to: Any yaoi pairing, especially Zoro x Sanji: I would not go so far as to say I hate yaoi, but it is definitely not my "cup of tea" so to speak. This kind of thing is simply something I accept that people enjoy, but I do not fit into that category. Of course, legitimate examples of it can work (if you can think of one), but some of them just irritate me to see. Zoro x Sanji for example. I mean, they hate each other. Sometimes hate isn't a "hidden attraction" kind of thing. Sometimes you just don't like someone. Okita x Kagura - Gintama: admittedly, this one is more out of my liking for Gintoki x Kagura, but the same argument applies as to the Zoro x Sanji pairing.
