| Hammond's Girl |
I've been an avid fan of fan-fiction for a long time. I'm an enigma and won't tell you my real name, but I've been in the Stargate SG-1, Hogan's Heroes, and Charmed fandoms for the past 8 years. I've been in and out with different identities, but have decided to go back to my original one. That means I know where the bodies are buried in a lot of fandoms other than just those listed here. LOL. Obviously, I'm a HUGE fan of Don S. Davis, may he rest in peace. The world lost a wonderful human being when Mr. Davis died. I had the pleasure of meeting him once, and he was as kind in person as portrayed in the character of General Hammond. He will be truly missed. What I like in fan-fiction is a thought out piece that stays true to canon, but also explores unknown territory. I LOVE missing scenes/tags that honestly fill in an episode. I also like to encourage new authors and give solid feedback. Some fandoms are very accepting and help to nurture and bring out the best in new writers, others are nasty and give cutting feedback to them. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! I dislike those and try to encourage those authors the most. Not everyone's story telling abilities are as well developed, but if they have passion and love for the story its the best they can do. Honest, constructive, and caring feedback helps to improve their writings. The reason we're all here is we love the stories right? I've met a lot of wonderful people here and its the people and their stories that keep me coming back. I read a tons of stories and my goal for the rest of the year is to leave a comment on each one. It serves two purposes, gives the author feedback and tells me that I've read that story. LOL. Those who know my real identity shhhhhh...it's a secret. LOL. | |||||
