Author has written 10 stories for Code Lyoko, Detective Conan/Case Closed, Yu Yu Hakusho, and World Ends With You. Yo. I'm me. Call me wind. Yeah, I'm not gonna tell you my name and I'm used to that. Obviously, I'm not going to tell you much else about myself. Personal safety and the fact that I don't know you and all. I'm just a girl who likes to write, among other things. I live. . . somewhere! So yeah. If the somewhere thing annoys you, I do it regularly. I think it's kinda funny, despite the fact that it doesn't really help much. Not even if I make it more specific and say "somewhere on Earth" or whatever instead. It's my general response for whenever asks me where something is and I don't know. Yeah, I know that was random. But my penname doesn't have the word random in it for nothing. I have three adorable cats who are four years old. Their names are Ruby, Carmen, and Maya, and they're the most adorable kitties ever! They're also all sisters! I love all kitties, especially mine. Just a warning, I have a serious case of procrastination issues. This doesn't usually affect my stories, but it might. At the moment, I only have trouble with school-related stuff. For me, procrastination means the lack of ability to force myself to sit down and do something. My theory is that no one's making me write fanfic. And no, that is NOT an excuse for you to not review my stories. My current obsessions are Detective Conan, Spiral: Siuri no Kizuna (manga only), Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Inuyasha. There are more things I'm interested in, but those are the ones that show up in my dreams. Suggesting that I could use a large dose of reality that I hope to never get. Things I like: cats, books, fan fiction, anime, manga, my friends, writing, reading, my laptop, the internet, soccer, martial arts, nature, astronomy, history, the Dodgers, ect. Things I don't like: expository text, when people don't update/abandon good stories, dues ex machina characters, sexist people, people who are prejudiced, homework, people nagging me, weather below 50 degrees unless it's snowing, Sarah Palin, and other things. READ THIS I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. I am the prostitute working on the streets because no one will hire a transsexual woman. I am the sister who holds her gay brother through the painful, tear-filled nights. We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time. I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room. I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have. I wish they could adopt me. I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I'll probably be able to walk again. I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply to much to bear. We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men. I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me. I am the mother who is not even allowed to visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor that has no support system to turn to because I am male. I am the father that never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that. I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized that I was transsexual. I am the person who feels guilty because I feel like I could be a much better person if I did not always have to deal with society hating me. I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they have closed the doors to "my kind". I am the person who has to hide what the world needs most. Love. I am the person who is afraid to tell his loving Christian parents that he loves another male. I am the teen-aged Californian who is being denied the right to marry based the way I love. I'm not even in love yet. Copy and paste this into your profile if you believe homophobia is wrong. Please do your part to end it. Story Stats: (as of 10/13/09) Deceptive Appearances: Detective Conan/Magic Kaito. Still not even close to done. And already over 50,000 words too. Anyway, it's currently in chapter 7. However, I'm currently focusing on EUUPoT (see below) and other, none FFN-related things. And man, I'm sorry it's late. I'd explain, but by this point, you're probably sick of excuses. It's all in my notebook, I just have to get around to typing it up. Extremely Unordinary, Unspecified Period of Time: Once again, it's not an unspecified period of time, it's actually a week. Heh. It's a crossover between Detective Conan (which I write for a lot) and World Ends With You. You don't necessarily need to know World Ends With You to read, I think. Not really at least. I haven't ever played it. That's what my lovely co-author, Kitsu-chan is for! Yeah, the tone of this story is a lot lighter and it's going to move a lot faster that DA. I do have some morality stuff planned for the end though. Also, new plans, mostly made by Kitsu-chan, have ensured that this two-chapter story will be longer than originally planned. I think it's about a third of the way done now, maybe. Quotes: When life gives you lemons, make apple juice. Then sit back and watch as everyone wonders how the heck you did that. -random profile I don't remember Before you insult someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you insult them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes. -someone The thing about imminent death is that it really snaps things back into perspective. -Max, Maximum Ride Right, I'm a "superhero" with a "secret identity" and my name is "Captain Sarcastic". -Liz Any sufficiently advanced level of technology is indistinguishable from magic. -Lewis C. Clarke Man is the only animal for which his own existence is a problem which he has to solve. -Erich Fromm I don't care if I die at midnight, I will not pass on your stupid chain letter! -Brian Some times I think that the surest sign that there's intelligent life on other planets is that none of it has tried to contact us. -Calvin, Calvin and Hobbes I didn't do it. You know I can't lie. Honestly, I'm not the mafia. . . .(wince)Okay I did it! Man, I suck at lying. -Fury attempting to play mafia (she only ever wanted to play the narrator, because she's very bad at playing mafia) My money’s not in my account. That makes me cry inside, in my special, angry place. -Parker, Leverage So you dropped out of priest school to become an insurance cop and now you’re the leader of a band of thieves. Nice. -Elliot, Leverage 3 billion women with ovaries on this planet, and I just had to get the one voted "most likely to become a delusional psychopath" as my mother! -Max, Maximum Ride Kid, did you know? A thief is a creative artist who takes his prey in style, but a detective is nothing more than a critic who follows in our footsteps. -Kaitou Kid, Detective Conan I have prepared this trap to honor the artistic criminal who has outsmarted the police force for so long. Oh, right, the most talented artists become famous after they're dead. I'll make you great by taking you to a cemetary called prison. -Conan(Kudo Shinichi), Detective Conan (in belated response to the above) A secret makes a woman, woman. -Vermouth, Detective Conan Tell me, what's it like living in a constant haze of stupidity? -Hiei Kurama: All the while we've been thinking you were a brilliant strategist. You're actually just a lucky fool. -Kurama, Yu Yu Hakusho How did you get back? Never mind that, how did you get out? And you left the gate open! Do you know what could've happened if some poor janitor went in that door without looking? It's sixty below this time of year on Mars-- -Nita, Young Wizards Hobbes: Do you have an idea for your book report yet? Silver: ICE CREAM TRUCK! Max: Clear vanilla notes, triple the amount of too sweet chocolate chips, distinct flavor of brown sugar, warm and fresh. A decent cookie, not spectacular. Still, a good-hearted cookie, not pretentious. What say you? Oh no, they approved the mission. Once they knew the stakes and the whole fate of the universe stuff, both Hammond and the President realized we have no choice. He sends good luck, godspeed, and all that stuff he says when he thinks we're going to die. -Jack, Stargate SG-1 Hattori: Why didn't you realize it that we forgot the evidence? Aren't you the great detective of the East? Bye, I'm going to go do. . . something or other. Probably involving the computer. | |||||||||
