Author has written 31 stories for NCIS, X-Files, Burn Notice, NCIS: Los Angeles, Proposal, 2009, Sherlock, and Supernatural. Hello! I'm musicforlife101, known on Tumblr, Twitter, the USA boards and Psychfic as Pineapple Yogurt, and on YouTube as miniBrennan (not that I've been doing much on there but if you see me around, say hi). I'm a huge fan of Sherlock, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Merlin and Covert Affairs. I also love Psych, Burn Notice, Castle, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek (both the reboot and TOS) and lots of other stuff. I love all things British and Irish and love to travel. As well as Harry Potter and all sorts of fantasy and sci-fi. And I'm spending the spring studying abroad in Dublin! I've been writing since I was about seven, even won an award, but got back into it a few years ago. I am in my third year of college at a great university and therefore I often have a lot of work. Because of this, sometimes I'm slow at posting but I am determined to finish everything at some point. I love reviews and often take time out of lunch and breaks to read them at school. I have a thing for songfics and music (hence the pen name) and I am a firm believer in happy endings. I usually write romance of some kind, but I've recently found I can write angst. Who knew? I'm a very stubborn person by nature, but I try to use it to my advantage. Therefore, I like to incorporate that quality into someone or bring it out in a character in almost all my stories. My dad died a week before my thirteenth birthday, so that theme and the date 5-20 show up often in my fics. And I have a half sister that I met a few years ago, so long lost relatives may make an appearance sometime in the future, but she is so much like our dad even though she doesn't remember him that I have even more faith in the nature vs. nurture argument. That theme shows up a lot, especially in my X-Files fics, or anything where children of characters are involved, even more so if one or both of them are missing for a large part of the child's life. I thought I would throw this in here in case someone stopped by to read. So now you know why certain things are the way they are. As a warning, I often disappear for a little while in the summer for a vacation, but I usually come back with more writing done. Hopefully I'll be disappearing for two weeks in March to backpack around Ireland and Wales on my spring break. I may or may not come back with writing done. We'll see. I support: Sherlock - Sherlock/John, always and in all universes, I'm not a huge Mycroft/Lestrade supporter, but I like it well enough and I'm always impressed by the ability to create sexual tension between characters who have never appeared on screen together, lol Star Trek - Kirk/Spock, the great-grandaddies of slash, Sulu/Chekov Merlin - Merlin/Arthur, there is an extreme lack of heterosexuality on that show, just sayin'. I also really love fics that feature 'nice Morgana' because she is sassy and awesome and such a Merthur shipper Doctor Who - 10/Rose, anyDoctor/Rose 11/River, and the nonexistent but wonderful universe created by SanguineInk that features 10/Rose traveling with Jack. Amy/Rory. And on a side note from Torchwood and sort of DW, I love Jack/Ianto! LOTR - Aragorn/Legolas, Merry/Pippin, a little Frodo/Sam, but I love all the friendship fics, especially Aragorn-Legolas-Gimli friendship Supernatural - Dean/Castiel, Dean/pie, Dean&Sam bromance, and my headcanon that Dean Forrester from Gilmore Girls was actually Sam Winchester in disguise X-Files - Mulder/Scully, occasionally Dogget/Reyes, if it's in a fic with MSR NCIS - Tony/Ziva (Tiva), McGee/Abby (McAbby), Jenny/Gibbs (Jibbs), and Vance-bashing Bones - Brennan/Booth, Hodgins/Angela, and I've been thinking for a long time about writing a fic with Vincent Nigel-Murray and an OC Psych - Shawn/Juliet (Shules) nuff said. Burn Notice - Michael/Fiona, big time on that one. My omni-present writing obsession. I will always have a thing for these two and will never tire of writing them or reading them. NCIS: Los Angeles - Kensi/G, another reading and writing obsession. I've got some stuff on my computer that is almost finished. Castle - Castle/Beckett (Caskett), I could watch and read these two for the rest of my life and never get bored. Love them! Also, love Stanathan, but that's irrelevant here. Bourne - Nicky/Jason, I don't knock the Jason/Marie shippers out there, but I think he and Nicky had something before the amnesia. In Plain Sight - Mary/Marshall, I'm not really a Raph basher, but I can't say that I particularly mind. Covert Affairs - Annie/Auggie, I haven't written anything for it, but I am reading it voraciously. List twelve of your characters from your fandoms, in no particular order. 1. Rose Tyler 1. Have you ever read a Six/Eleven fic? Do you want to? No I haven't, but I think Dean could do a little time travel and meet Arthur. It would be interesting, that's for sure. 2. Do you think Four is hot? How hot? Um, obviously I think Captain Jack Harkness is HOT!!! Every sentient being in the universe through all of time and space would pretty much agree on that. Also, John Barrowman is fabulous and I want to be his best friend. So there's that. 3. What would happen if Twelve got Eight pregnant? That would not ever happen, but Spock would be irrationally angry I think. 4. Can you recall any fics about Nine? Yes, plenty! There was this great one where Ianto was actually the coffee boy for Castle and Beckett and it was heartbreakingly beautiful. 5. Would Two and Six make a good couple? No. Dean and John? I don't know why, but I just don't think so. They would probably work fairly well in a larger team, like if Sam and Sherlock were to join them and they were solving a supernatural mystery, but not as a couple. It wouldn't work out. They're too, something. Similar, but not. 6. Five/Nine or Five/Ten? Why? Spock/Ianto or Spock/Sherlock. I think Spock would much prefer Sherlock. At least he's logical. Though, admittedly, all three of them are pretty similar. They should be in a fic together at some point. Logical, intelligent and snarky in their own ways. 7. What would happen if Seven walked in on Two and Twelve having sex? If Merlin walked in on John and Jim having sex (which is both hilariously unlikely and yet surprisingly imaginable), I think Merlin would be very very embarrassed. He would turn bright red and stutter something and then leave very quickly. 8. Make up a summary for a Three/Ten fic. Morgana, reincarnated, wants nothing more than to find Arthur and make up for her past wrongs by reuniting him with Merlin. To do so, however, she must employ the world's greatest detective, who initially thinks she's mad, but finds the once and future king anyways. 9. Is there any such thing as One/Eight fluff? Yes there is and thank God for that! Rose and Ten have some brilliant fluff. It sets my heart all a-flutter. 10. Suggest a title for a Seven/Twelve hurt/comfort fic. The Once and Future Captain? 11. If you wrote a songfic about Eight, what song would you choose This is such a cop out, but I would use "Teenage Rebel" by Chameleon Circuit. 12. If you wrote a One/Six/Twelve fic, what would the warning be? WARNING: for badass time-traveling, world-saving, universe striding heroes and a metric tonne of pining. 13. When was the last time you read a fic about Five? Um, a while ago I guess. I think it was when I reread Life in the Neutral Zone, which I reread all the time because it is so amazing and adorable.
