Author has written 12 stories for Rawhide, Twilight Zone, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Sweet November. Yep, really is my name. I've written around four hundred stories for various web sites under various names. Throws 'em off the track. I figure Evan Hunter had lots of names so... I live in America. I am so glad Obama is the president-elect. And now have hope. I've got a book that is to be published in a few days. Please will someone write me and ask about it? November is my favorite month. It's melancholy and singular and heart breaking. I love "The Twilight Zone" and all of Rod Serling's work. I miss him so much. I read "Dandelion Wine" first when I was 13 and discovered the world round me. This way to magical. I've tried to write that all my life. Horror movies are my favorite. I feel they advance reality more than reality does and should be paid attention. I am reprehensibly shy and unsure of everything about me. Used to think writers knew everything. Ha. They search and are scared and baffled too. Have read about three thousand books. Have a house of them. I write mostly of loneliness in various guises. I have a book available. Did I mention that? I have a web site and have been told occasionally some of my stories are ok. Mostly I sit at the computer, say a one name prayer and begin. Dreams are reality to me. I am thoroughly fed up with Stephen King, so why do I keep reading his rip-offs of far better writers? I have two cats. I love them. They love me. We are one big happy-- When I start quoting the Barney and Friends theme, I know it's time to close. Thank you for reading this. And if you read any of my work, those words thank you too. Oh, I'm on fiction.com too. And some other sites if you want to write me, please do. They are controversial. Whoohoooo. Take care, Barry Eysman | |||||||
