Although I've come to the Naruto universe later in life then most -

still I found myself drawn to the richness of Masashi Kishimoto's stories and characters.

From the start I resonated with the somewhat aloof nature of a certain masked ninja and always wished that he would appear in more episodes/chapters than he has. There is always a hint of what he's made of that is enough to make us curious but never enough to satisfy.

So to keep my mind occupied I started creating my own Kakashi-centered storylines.

Some were completed before we knew all the characters of the Akatsuki (so you will need to forgive my use of other names and jutsus than what belongs in the real Naruto universe) and all tend to revolve around Kakashi.

But then again my pen name should have clued you in on that!

I hope you enjoy my contributions and I will do my best to provide you with well written, believable story lines.

Another completed story, Lessons Learned From A C-Ranked Mission, and once again I find myself overwhelmed by the response I have received from my readers and reviewers. I am glad you have all enjoyed the tale as much as I enjoyed writing it for you.

My concentration will now shift to the other two in progress pieces - Messages From A Dead Sage and A New Path Traveled.

Okay - by now I should know better than to think I have control over the muse...when in fact, it is the muse who controls me!

Because of this, my plans to finish Messages From A Dead Sage and A New Path Traveled before adding any more stories has met a bit of a road block...The Will of Fire...the long awaited sequel to my first story The Sixth Hokage has decided it will not wait any longer to be written.

So - without further ado - expect the posting of the first chapter of this new story - to arrive soon - along with a teaser to be posted at the end of the original story...

Messages From A Dead Sage and A New Path Traveled will continue to be updated as time (and my muse) permits...

Update as of November 10, 2009:

As many of you may have guessed by my multiple updates this week - I have escaped the rigors of the real world by taking a week long vacation in sunny Florida (ha - well, not so sunny thanks to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ida - but still better than fall in New York State!)

My muse is actually allowing me to continue working on all three in progress stories...so expect a few more updates before the week is up! Thanks again to everyone who has supported my tales along the way...the reviewers and those who simply read without input...I appreciate each and every one of you.
