Well i'm working on a canon-verse Yullen project right now, i don't know if you've read it, but other than the way the story plays out there i don't think i'll ever write Yullen.I SERIOUSLY HATE THOSE STORIES WHERE ALLEN IS ALWAYS PORTRAYED AS A USELESS WHINY VIRGIN AND KANDA HAS TO LIKE RAPE HIM OR SOMETHING AND IT'S TOTALLY OKAY THAT ALLEN GETS HURT BECAUSE HE WUVS KANDA I seriously abhor those stories.

Allen isn't as whiny or useless or OOC as they make him out to be and he doesn't cry or blush all the time. SOMETIMES. BUT HELLO PEOPLE, ALLEN'S GOT A HELL LOT OF SPUNK IN THE CANON. WHERE THE HELL DID IT GO IN YOUR STORY?

And Kanda shouldn't be that goddamned horrible or brutal or crude. I mean, first of all, he's Japanese. His culture is one of refined dignity. How likely is it that he would rape Allen and force the kid to enjoy it?

And how freaking OOC is it for him to pin Allen against the wall/floor/doll/hallway and proceed to ravish the boy? GODDAMMIT THAT ISN'T YULLEN AT ALL. IT'S LIKE THEY TOOK THE CHARACTER'S BODIES, SUCKED OUT THEIR SOULS AND WROTE A STORY WITH THE SOUL-LESS BODIES, THAT'S ALL. GOSH I HATE THOSE STORIES. And how can it be a romance if he keeps hurting Allen but it's okay if Allen loves him? IT'S ABUSE, THAT'S WHAT IT IS. AND ALLEN LOVING HIM DOESN'T MAKE IT ALL OKAY BECAUSE 97.3 PERCENT OF RAPE CASES WORLDWIDE ARE COMMITTED BY SOMEONE THE VICTIM LOVES. It just ain't right to write a story like that.

AND ALL YOU WRITERS WHO HAVE DONE ANY OF THE STUFF ABOVE, OR USED LEENALEE/LAVI/ETC AS A TOOL IN YOUR STORY TO GET KANDA AND ALLEN TOGETHER WITHOUT ANY ACTIVE PLOT INVOLVEMENT OR THOROUGH CHARACTERISATION, YOU SUCK BAD. AND I HATE YOU ALL BECAUSE YOU KILL MY LOVE FOR THE PAIRING. WITHOUT YOU I WOULD HAVE LIKED YULLEN A WHOLE LOT BETTER.

(AND MY DARLING KURO TOO. YOU KILLED MY WIFE'S LOVE FOR THAT, ASSHOLES. SEE WHAT YOU DID?)

Get your damned story dynamics and characterizations down pat before you write Yullen. And i don't care how popular, favourited or anything your stories are. If you can't keep your characters in-character, deal with the topic of rape in a mature and logical manner or steer away from cliches, I WILL ALWAYS HATE YOU.

BUT THAT IS NOT TO SAY I HATE YULLEN OR THAT I DO NOT LIKE YULLEN. KEEP IN MIND THAT I READ, FAVOURITE, AND WRITE THAT TOO BEFORE YOU START COMING AFTER ME WITH PITCHFORKS AND FIRES. I'm talking specifically to those people who can't for the life of them figure out characterisations, that's all. Other than that i love Yullen the way i love HPDM. YES SO NO HATE MAIL PLEASE. IT'S NOT THE PAIRING I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH; IT'S THE WAY THE PAIRING IS WRITTEN THAT BITES ME IN THE ASS.
