I dabble in other categories such as Pride and Prejudice, Card Captor Sakura, Black Cat and Kingdom Hearts. I write for experience. I write for fun. I write for me.

A little something about me

I have a name. Which I shall not use…but feel free to call me Lavender or Ella which is technically the closest thing to my name; though no one but my adorable imaginary friend calls me that, but I very much prefer it to all the other so-called ‘terms of endearment’.

I am young. Not under-aged young (anymore –cough-), but I’m still not old enough to consume alcohol, drive a car or own any form of weaponry beyond a pair of safety scissors and even then my friend has to keep an eye on me.

Currently a high school student with an interest in the history of myths, legends and things that boarder on the paranormal, magical and downright insanity.

I love music. Listening to it and pretending I can do it. No matter what anyone says, don’t stop trying even if you sound like a cat’s dying.

Food is my favorite thing in the world. Sweets. Pizza. Chocolate. Ice-cream. Soda. I’m the first to say: I don’t eat healthy and it doesn’t help that I’m a couch potato too…

Writing is the only constructive outlet I have other than wasting my life on the sofa.

Don’t be fooled though. I have my occasional stupid acts of boredom which normally include daring my friend to drink a whole bottle of vinegar and jumping into the pool with my friend’s phone in my pocket. In my defense, my friend wakes me up with the Muse’s Uprising on full blast, and when she’s in a good mood, she’ll play Bon Jovi’s Have a nice day before exams.

I’ve been writing FanFiction, poetry, short-stories and the like since I was nine. I was a certified bookworm long before that though so my writing wasn’t generally a surprise to the people who knew my obsession for literature.

My favorites that aren’t manga/anime involved would include:

Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice as well as Emma.

Kirsten Cashore’s Graceling.

J. K Rowling’s Harry Potter.

Derek Landy’s Skullduggery Pleasant.

My manga/anime cravings would definitely be part of the ‘anime trinity’ as my brother calls it:

Naruto –Because ninjas are awesome.

Bleach ­–Because their fight scenes are kickass.

I haven’t read One Piece yet, and I haven’t watched it yet either because none of my friends (or my brother’s friends) has it for me to steal. My other anime favorites include:

Black cat –Train Heartnet is the hottest, most kickass anime character ever. I’d totally marry him.

Gundam SEED –The first time I’ve ever seen human follies so obviously pointed out. To manufacture perfection and to hate those who were engineered by it.

Card Captor Sakura –Just because I always wanted to have that kind of adventure.

Avatar: the last airbender –This series is amazing, if not for the canon pairings it would blow Bleach and Naruto right out of the water.

Devil may cry –Not particularly the most in-depth plot, but the fight scenes are definitely cool. Dante’s pretty good-looking too mmhmm….

I love TV and movies so here are some of my favorites:

High School Musical – Don’t judge me. My best friends and I connected through watching this cliché.

Chuck ­–If NBC gets its way, this series will end in the fifth season, which is absolute SHIT because this show is amazing. HUGE ZAC LEVI FAN!

I also have an obsession for games. I don’t play though, I’m very bad at it….but I love watching and my favorites would happen to be:

Tekken – Don’t care what anyone else has to say, Tekken kicks Street fighter any day.

Kingdom Hearts – People call them the Final Fantasy rejects. I just think they’re jealous coz the characters are cuter, and I mean come on, it’s Disney.

Final Fantasy – No one I know (well) plays Final Fantasy, but I started reading fanfics and I was hooked. But I have watched some fight scenes, and if I knew how to play, I’d definitely be doing that.

Don’t judge me. I just can’t play with gaming platforms. After that whole Wii incident when the device got too up-close-and-personal with the TV, no one’s let me near another one, and I’m talking both TV and gaming platforms. The only one they trust me with is internet RPGs and the games you can play on the PC but that’s probably because I can’t accidently throw the mouse at the screen -_-

I don't read Yaoi, Yuri, Incest or Harems.

Incest for one thing is just…disgusting.

As for yaoi and yuri, I support gay rights, honestly I do, but I don’t and won’t read or write any of it. Yes I have double standards; shall I pretend to care for your sake?

As for the harems. Uh, yeah, I just find them disgusting so don't ever expect me to read any of them.

My first work on a new account. Not exactly the best written but it was the best I did as an adolescent (by that I mean, I was twelve -_-), I admit my one-shot skills for cannon aren’t good but in my defence I’m not an avid viewer of Naruto, it’s more a hobby than a way of life (ducks behind barrage) DON’T HURT ME!

First time doing a BC oneshot, again not very well written but I was twelve. I was a lot better than most newbs in my opinion.

Okay so this is kind of what happens when people force me to write. My writing reverted to that of my first one-shot and I wasn’t happy but the people who read it were impressed and so it stayed. But don’t expect an indepth plot because I can honestly say I didn’t have one.

Something I did on a whim that received a lot of recognition which I was insanely surprised and happy about. Very well written compared to the other one-shots.

My first muse shot, unfortunately it included dialogue but it turned out fine. According to some reviewers, better than Playing Mr. Nice Guy, so I was pretty happy about it

A one-shot inspired by a fighting couple at the mall, done very well in my opinion with a little extra boast to write it from mitchiex’s story. Well written and surprisingly popular.

In plain sight

A one-shot delving into the secret relationship of Stella and Ray, I was pretty happy about how it turned out though I was disappointed by the lack of reviews…

By definition

This wasn’t my greatest piece of work, I admit that it was pretty cliché compared to my others but the idea hit and I didn’t know what to do with it. So there it was. As well written as I can say though my plot wasn’t very impressive in my opinion

A little problem with the ‘L’ word

Surprisingly popular despite the odd idea, well written and plot bunny induced. There’s a lesson there my fellow writers, quirky ideas gets you noticed

A matter of admitting it

A pretty interesting idea I had about the move before it ended, this story occurred before Rising Star and I suppose before the Halloween Ball. Could be continued but am still deciding…

What Ray rates

I admit, not my greatest work, I was in a rush and didn’t have time to proofread so mistakes could be abundant however nothing more than a few jumbled words here and there. Spelling and the like remain at my usual level and the plot, though quickly made was done well enough based on how quickly I typed it up. I admit that it would have been better written if I’d polished it first but there it is…

It’s a teen thing

An insanely long high school story. This is probably the last one I will ever do which is why I’m sticking everything into it with a few added…surprises. I’m happy with how well I’ve done and how much I’ve improved but the support staff is pretty low and that’s discouraging enough without having writer’s block, however I’m determined to get it finished and it will be. At 33chapters and 229,571 words, I’m too far gone to give up now.
