A little something about me

I have a name. Which I shall not use…but feel free to call me Lavender or Ella which is technically the closest thing to my name; I prefer it to all the other so-called ‘terms of endearment’ people have come up with for me over the years which would include:

Pocahontas – Because of my hair…though it depends on whose saying it…my friend’s six year old sister calls me “Pocket of nonsense” along with the nickname Poca.

Switzerland – Because I tend to be neutral when people argue or fight. Conflict isn’t my thing.

Katrina – Because I’m apparently a walking disaster.

Sigh…

I am young.

Not under-aged young (anymore –cough-), but I’m still not old enough to consume alcohol, drive a car or own any form of weaponry beyond a pair of safety scissors and even then my friend has to keep an eye on me.

Currently a high school student with an interest in the history of myths, legends and things that boarder on the paranormal, magical and downright insanity.

I love music. Listening to it and pretending I can do it. No matter what anyone says, don’t stop trying even if you sound like a cat’s dying.

Food is my favorite thing in the world. Sweets. Pizza. Chocolate. Ice-cream. Soda. I’m the first to say: I don’t eat healthy and it doesn’t help that I’m a couch potato too…

Writing is the only constructive outlet I have other than wasting my life on the sofa.

Don’t be fooled though. I have my occasional stupid acts of boredom which normally include daring my friend to drink a whole bottle of vinegar and jumping into the pool with my friend’s phone in my pocket. In my defense, my friend wakes me up with the Muse’s Uprising on full blast, and when she’s in a good mood, she’ll play Bon Jovi’s Have a nice day before exams.

I’ve been writing FanFiction, poetry, short-stories and the like since I was nine. I was a certified bookworm long before that though so my writing wasn’t generally a surprise to the people who knew my obsession for literature.

My favorites that aren’t manga/anime involved would include:

J. K Rowling’s Harry Potter (Up to the Prisoner of Azkaban…don’t ask me why, but that’s my favorite book)

My manga/anime cravings would definitely be part of the ‘anime trinity’ as my brother calls it:

Naruto –Because ninjas are awesome.

Bleach –Because their fight scenes are kickass. And I just love Toshiro…sigh…

I haven’t read One Piece yet, and I haven’t watched it yet either because none of my friends (or my brother’s friends) has it for me to steal. My other anime favorites include:

Fairy Tail –It’s the funniest, yet most killer anime I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch…

Black cat –Train Heartnet is the hottest, most kickass anime character ever. I’d totally marry him.

Gundam SEED –The first time I’ve ever seen human follies so obviously pointed out. To manufacture perfection and to hate those who were engineered by it.

Card Captor Sakura –Just because I always wanted to have that kind of adventure.

Avatar: the last airbender –This series is amazing, if not for the canon pairings it would blow Bleach and Naruto right out of the water.

Devil may cry –Not particularly the most in-depth plot, but the fight scenes are definitely cool. Dante’s pretty good-looking too mmhmm….

I love TV and movies so here are some of my favorites:

High School Musical – Don’t judge me. My best friends and I connected through watching this cliché.

Chuck –If NBC gets its way, this series will end in the fifth season, which is absolute SHIT because this show is amazing. HUGE ZAC LEVI FAN!

Tangled –Because fairytale spinoffs never looked this good.

Pirates of the Caribbean – Two words: Jack Sparrow

Lemonade Mouth –VIVA STELLA YAMADA

I also have an obsession for games. I don’t play though, I’m very bad at it….but I love watching and my favorites would happen to be:

Tekken – Don’t care what anyone else has to say, Tekken kicks Street fighter any day.

Kingdom Hearts – People call them the Final Fantasy rejects. I just think they’re jealous coz the characters are cuter, and I mean come on, it’s Disney.

Final Fantasy – No one I know (well) plays Final Fantasy, but I started reading fanfics and I was hooked. But I have watched some fight scenes, and if I knew how to play, I’d definitely be doing that.

Don’t judge me. I just can’t play with gaming platforms. After that whole Wii incident when the device got too up-close-and-personal with the TV, no one’s let me near another one, and I’m talking both TV and gaming platforms. The only one they trust me with is internet RPGs and the games you can play on the PC but that’s probably because I can’t accidently throw the mouse at the screen -_-

My pairings

I don't read Yaoi, Yuri, Incest or Harems.

Incest for one thing is just…disgusting.

As for yaoi and yuri, I support gay rights, honestly I do, but I don’t and won’t read or write any of it. Yes I have double standards; shall I pretend to care for your sake?

As for the harems. Uh, yeah, I just find them disgusting so don't ever expect me to read any of them.

Anime:

Naruto

() NejTen- No exceptions, I have this thing about them being really close. To be honest, I think Tenten’s the only girl he’s close to, and let’s face it; it takes a lot to get on Neji’s good side. So why wouldn’t they be a plausible couple?

() SasuSaku- No exceptions, I may have thought that Sakura was extremely annoying in the beginning, but personally they make a pretty good couple.

() NaruHina- On the fence I suppose...I'm alright with HinaKiba and HinaShino, but I will never actively seek these pairings out, but I'm fine with reading mentions of it during a story. But I am still a huge NaruHina fan, just because I love the whole girl in love with a guy who doesn’t seem to notice.

() ShikaIno- On the fence as well, I'm fine with ShikaTema, InoSai and the like, but I prefer this pairing much more. She’ll probably be the only one who can get him off his ass.

I support fangirl bashing. Go nuts.

Bleach

() IchigoRukia-No exceptions, there was something so there when I first watched. To be honest I got bored when Rukia didn’t come back with him XP

() IchimaruMatsumoto-No exceptions, I know he’s kind of creepy but they make quite a good pair considering they protected each other since childhood.

() ToshiroMomo-I don't read this pairing often so I'm open to other pairings as long as it doesn't interfere with my IchiRuki one. I love this pairing because they know each other better than anyone else, besides, I have this thing for best friends.

I personally love all the characters, even the bad guys. But I don't mind bashing as long as my pairings are untouched.

Black Cat

() TrainSaya-No exceptions, to me, Saya is not dead. And she’s changed him for the better.

() LeonEve-No exceptions, I loved their fight scene XD

() TrainEve-Purely platonic, they’re like the brother-sister duo that rarely ever appears in anime.

I can never really find fault with these characters...but bashing is bashing, again I don't mind as long as my pairings are untouched and Train remains awesome.

Gundam SEED

() AthrunCagalli-No exceptions, I just love them together in GS, especially that island episode hmm-mm…

() DearkaMilli-No exceptions, she’s the only one who can call him out on being an ass and he’ll probably only listen to her anyway.

Flay. I hate her with a fiery passion of a thousand suns. That includes anyone who annoys me in this show. So if you bash Flay, I won't mind and I'll actually like you more for it.

Some of the characters are hard to hate, but Mei annoys me a lot. Bash her, and I'll turn a blind eye. Keep my pairings untouched and you won't feel my wrath.

() Darcy (Will) Elizabeth- No exceptions, because this pairing is the most BOSS literature pairing in the world!

() CharlesJane-On the fence, I've read a story with JaneRichard and it made a lot of sense so I'm fine with that too...

Lady Catherine. Caroline Bingely. George Wickham. And on occasion Lydia Bennet. If they have some sort of sob-story or aren't being portrayed as bad people in the fic, I won't mind, but feel free to bash them any time you like.

Harry Potter

() HarryHermione-My original first pairing. I swear to heaven that I thought they'd get together eventually but alas... Originally without exceptions but one of my best friend's have me reading DracoHermione and I really couldn't help myself xD

() JamesLily-No exceptions, because I love how he’s the troublesome bad boy and she’s the stiff-necked good girl…

() RemusTonks-No exceptions unless they haven't met, though I would prefer them together, I just think they’re adorable.

() NevilleLuna-No exceptions, except for NevilleSusan but I don't actively read this pairing in any case.

() DracoHermione-With the exception of HarryHermione, just because I've always loved love-hate relationships.

Mmm...the Weasleys. Not Bill. Not Charlie. Not Arthur. And certainly NOT the twins. But I do detest Ron; his inferiority complex irritates the life out of me. I only hate Ginny because of the pairing in the books, and sometimes I do find her annoying all on her own. Molly too. So feel free to bash Ron, Ginny and Molly. I don't mind Dumbledore bashing either. Along with Snape too...when the occasion calls for it.

Twilight

I don’t generally find the series all that great, but again, its fiction and it may not be perfect but the characters are still very impressionable.
