Author has written 11 stories for Magnificent Seven, Torchwood, NCIS, Primeval, and Sherlock. UPDATE: Hi all! Some of you might wonder why all of a sudden you're seeing a pen name you don't recognise. I used to TechnoMistress, but I've decided to change my pen name, as I want to use that one professionally. Thought I should probably put something here to tell y'all a bit about myself. I'm a 40+ year-old female geek who lives just outside of Toronto in Canada. I used to write a lot, but lately my muse seems to have deserted me - hence the reason I only have a few stories currently posted. However, I`ve decided to get more serious about my writing and I'm working on a few pieces (slowly) at the moment - the main one is another NCIS piece in my Tony/Tobias friendship series. I haven't seen a lot of those out there, and it's a dynamic I'm enjoying exploring. I'm also working on a second NCIS piece, which is a very minor crossover with one of my favourite 1980s series - no I'm not going to tell you which - but it's still in process and currently stalled. I don't post anything I haven't already finished, as it drives me nuts (short drive, more of a long putt really) as a reader to get into a really good story and then have the author either give up on it or be unable to finish it for some reason. My educational background is actually in Journalism - I have a B.A. from Ryerson - but I much prefer writing fiction to non-fiction. I've bounced around various fields in my professional life and am currently working as an HR computer geek for a large pharmaceutical firm. I`m also a student again, as I`m working on a technical writing certificate from one of the colleges up here. I`ve got to tell you, it`s really strange trying to turn my mind from fiction writing to technical writing - sometimes I think I`m developing a split personality! Other shows I love include NCIS (obviously), Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Remington Steel, Castle, The Pretender, White Collar, Classic Trek and Babylon Five. Fandoms I read and enjoy include NCIS, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka and Torchwood. I think that's it for now... | |||||||
