I like History, just because without studying for it, I got an A+ in it. So I'm petty and glad.

I hate Physics though. I normally ace it but it ain't my thing. I NEED to study for it. The few hours spent are torture. (Oh, the horror!)

I'm a total hypocrite, I always contradict my own words.

Even though I don't celebrate it, I love Christmas.

With all the happy stuff out of the way, yeah, it's time to rant.

I've been here, for like 4 years, give or take a few, and I started out reading hentai fics, particularly Detective Conan ones with the canon-verse couples, ShinichixRan HeijixKazuha KaitoxAoko, that lot. Some of the really best authors are http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1274326/ and http://www.fanfiction.net/u/221523/Candyland .

I actually stumbled into ff.net, googling for ShinxRan pics and they gave me a link to one of Candyland's fic, I can't remember which. It was awkward to say the least. I was dumb then (Not that I aren't now) but I was SHOCKED to put it plainly. I have NEVER read fanfiction before so I thought all of those were real. Shat my pants right off. Took me a few days to actually realise what FANFICTION stands for. Sigh, my brain never fails to amuse me.I read those pairings for about a year or so and ventured into another manga.

I went on to read Inuyasha fics, also hentai ones starring InuxKag ones and SesshxRin ones. I really loved those pairings. I 've read some really great stories by http://www.fanfiction.net/u/252373/ , http://www.fanfiction.net/u/505489/ and http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1232539/ .

I left that fandom (not completely, just got bored) and pursued Prince of Tennis fics, especially RyoSaku ones. Impossible , I know. But meh, it was a good read.

As you can see, all I've read up till that time was all heterosexual/hentai fics. I wasn't exposed (yet) to the wonderful world of YAOI.

My first yaoi pairing was YukimuraxSanada. That time, I was totally addicted to PoT and after watching it a gazilllion times, I finally took note of SanaYuki fics. They were adorable. *sighs* But yeah, reading the sex scenes made me uncomfortable (what with me reading boy-girl action only, being introduced to boy-boy kinda made me uneasy) but you get used to it. It was a delightful experience and opened the doors to the magnificent realm of YAOI goodness. I was hooked, line and sinker.

Thus me, being the free person I am, started looking around for other pairings. SanaYuki fics are inadequate, there's too little of them.

I paid the Naruto verse a visit. I got curious, you know, seeing that the manga has the most written fics ever in the manga genre. I meddled a bit here and there and investigated the most written couple (SASUNARU/NARUSASU! duh,). I was astounded. I've never actually thought of their relationship turning for the -better?- and steering away from friendship.

Then I sat down to think. And me thinking was never a good thing. I tend to over-think things. An epiphany came and hit me right on the head. It made sense. The relationship between Sasuke and Naruto totally.made.awesome.sense. Them being together is like, a huge slap on the face you SHOULD'VE seen coming. Them going out of their ways for each other (Mostly Naruto but meh,) and the girls in 'Naruto' play parts so minuscule you think them as the backdrops or props or something. Even the Hinata-super-I'm-so-awesome-that-I'd-confess-before-Pein-strikes-me-confession was left hanging. It's like it wasn't even there, with Naruto not really acknowledging it. And don't make me start about Sakura. She should just die or something. That'd be the best role she's played yet.

So yeah, I started getting a taste of the SasuNaru variety. I got addicted so fast, I didn't see it coming. I kept reading, and reading and finding more to read. Thank god there are decent writers out there especially the many who I'm too lazy to name out (there's too many. In my faves list. :) I've rereadhttp://www.fanfiction.net/u/1210407/'s fic (The DMZ, All The Small Things, etc.) A BILLION TIMES! (exaggerating) and can't help but come back for more. It's really, really addicting. It just pulls you in deeper and deeper.

I started out avoiding NaruSasu, with me preferring Sasuke as the dominant one, but as I tread upon various deliciously written NaruSasu fics, I couldn't help but relent. They're just so awesome!

My appetite still hasn't been satisfied and my thirst for more hasn't been quenched. I'm still starved. The bad thing with too many is you lose sight of what's important. Like my studies which a bearing the brute of my slacking off. I haven't seen so many B's in like, ever. /headdesk/

But recently, many authors have started moving on and letting go of the fandom. That I understand, but they don't need to be evil about it! Many (ultra awesome) fics have been slowly (or extremely fast, like in a blink of an eye, it's gone) vanishing, no thanks to the authors deleting them off every site. Take Rasengan22. Bye bye beautiful fiction. She wrote them too good. Breaks my heart thinking bout it. Then there's ivvymoon. She totally ripped it out of my chest, threw it on the ground and started to stomp on it like there's no tomorrow. That totally sucks.

Life's a bitch. ivvymoon's life personified. Not that I mean it in a bad way, it's just that, sigh, I don't even know what to say. Thinking about it makes me intensely sad. boo-hoo-hoo :'(
I still love ivvymoon though. Her fics were totally out of this world. Pray that my hopelessly unrequited love will fade with time. Amen. (I'm no Christian though. Oh well)

Apparently, the HUGE-ASS reason for most authors dropping out of 'The Awesome SasuNaru Academy' is that the plot has turn insanely unfavourable, what with Sasuke going bat-shit crazy. Shit, as if you didn't see it coming, with Sasuke being the vulnerable ass he is.
So now, many are leaving the fandom with me just starting out with it. Boo me. /facepalm/

Come on people, at least finish it and let us fanatics savour the fics before you leave. You bunch ol' meanies. I'm telling my mommy! *pouts*
Ok, I can't actually do that, I, for one, wouldn't want my mom to know that I'm reading gay porn and am very much addicted to it. sighs.

But really, why start something that you're not intent on finishing? I really hate this kind of people (HYPOCRITE).
