All right, listen up! You BrainyVi fans have it sooo easy. You just latch on to the concept of Brainiac 5 and Shrinking Violet as a couple with one episode. While making a cult out of three episodes is actually quite a feat, you know nothing of the world of coming up with OCxCanon couples. It's especially hard when you're not going to cut up your character or the canon to make them fit each other. Nor do you force them to love each other.

I admit that at one point, I did throw Brainy and my OC, Darklight, then called 'Mercy' together without a second thought. However. I changed Mercy. Why? Because. Maturity affects character concepts. Darklight was created, and I started having doubts. Was she really a possible pairing with Brainiac 5? That's right. I had doubts. Serious doubts. Then I let the concept roll around in my head for months on end. And something happened: Dark Victory Part 2. Not only did that open a doorway for maaany possibilities, it made Brainy human. The ability to actually notice my shy, withdrawn OC was given to him. Amazing, non? Of course, this did wonders for you BrainyVi fans. 'Yay! Now I don't have to be creative when writing their kids!'. Admit it, you thought something like that at one point.

Now, The Beast Within- my pride and glory, is sort of a BrainyOC fic. And it went off-course. I know that. I'm putting it back on course. I'm sorry it's not a BrainyVi fanfic. I'm not really into making Shrinking Violet Brainiac 5's hero. Nor am I into making Darklight his hero either. She is someone he learns to trust, when her learning anything about his new lycanthropy was a pure accident. Believe me, he's gonna yell at her sometimes. Or at least waaay more than she'll yell at him. He even calls her an idiot. She takes that because one, she likes him, and two, at least he's talking to her at all.

And no, Brainy didn't push her out of Espia's way because of love. He would've done it for anyone. Even Shrinking Violet.

And stop bashing the BrainySupes fans! They have their work cut out for them. I'm sorry if you don't like yaoi. I'm not a huge fan myself.

Am I against BrainyVi fandom? Well, yeah. This is the only place I can openly state my opinions and thoughts about it, because believe it or not, I don't want to insult any particular person. I will draw BrainyVi pictures if I get something out of it(usually BrainyDarklight pics). And even though I don't support BrainyRoxy, Flarey has her work cut out for her, too. Please don't slander her character.
