I wish that I could, though.

I've been on hiatus from Fanfiction for over a year... The last time I updated was when I was 13, and now I am 15. I've wasted two years... Two years of virtually no writing...

I still have More Than Just Harry up on here... But I really doubt I'll ever finish it... I've come a long way from being the comedy writing tween I was. I'm too different to finish it... The styles would contrast, the word choicewould be different, and the writing caliber would uncomparable because they're just so different.

I don't even write that much fanfiction anymore... Now, I write mostly dark fiction that I come up with on my own... And even that I haven't done for over a year.

Fiction gives me the space and freedom I need to make a story, which is why I prefer it over fanfiction... But I love fanfiction writing also because I get to use characters that are already developed, characters that I know and love. I get to further develop them, to shape them the way I would like them to come out.

One day, I'm hoping I can come back and write some fanfiction. But for now, it's just reading it. Nothing makes me happier than a well written fanfiction. I recommend anything on my list of favorites... But those authors haven't updated in a while... And they're oldies because I haven't been on fanfiction that much either.
