Hey, my name's Maddy and I live in Australia. I absolutely love writing and reading, and i'm very happy with the way my fics are turning out, thanks to all the wonderful support via reviews and emails I'm recieving. I've finished The Cabin, and have finally finished The Manor too. I've already written many chapters on a new fic which is also a Draco/Hermione romance, called 'Scales and a Tail.'

I love writing Scales; it will be a slow therefore hopefully believable romance between Draco and Hermione. There is a plot, so don't think its leading nowhere in particular. It will just take a while to get there.

I'm currently in third year university studying professional writing, and the course can get fairly full-on. This is my lame excuse as to why i dont update frequently. I have also written a romance novel of my own, and so spend a lot of time writing those 50,000 words instead of fanfiction. I have sent in my manuscript to Mills&Boon, so my fingers are crossed. I'll let you know if i happen to get it published, so if you're interested in another romance of mine (not harry potter based, though), you can buy it!

NOTE TO 'SCALES' READERS - I know i know i know i know i haven't posted in ages. I have written a good 1500 words on the next chapter, but i just want to get a bit more done before i post it. I have to take this time to say a few wordsin regards to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I may spoil it here for those who have not read it, but damn, JK came close to some fanfictions i have read! Not with the Horcrux's or anything like that, but with the romances. Lavender and Ron, then Ron and Hermione. Hehe. Hints of Neville and Luna. Harry and Ginny! My favorite pairing. Now, unfortunately for us Draco/Hermione fic writers therereally isn't any hope oftheir romance becoming a reality!I am writing Scales and a Tail as if the sixth book never happened.
