Author has written 7 stories for Twilight, Warriors, Ouran High School Host Club, Spirited Away, Skip Beat!, and Full Moon wo Sagashite. Fanfiction is a website that permits people to unleash their imagination. If anyone dares to deny such, all they need to do is look at the top of every page, and there it is like a banner. The website's motto is 'unleash your imagination'. Let that be a reminder to those of us who busy or amuse themselves with flaming other people's work. There is a fine line between 'helping another improve' and 'cruelly stripping another's work of all the positive things until there is nothing left but the negative aspects'. Maybe there are some of us who are under the impression that they are helping other writers improve their work. However, if we were to take a closer look at many of their reviews we'll find that they have crossed that thin line and are, in truth, cruely stripping another's work of all the positive things until there is nothing left but the negative aspects. Anyone who has been flamed, don't worry about it. Everyone has imagination, and to tear apart another's imagination is pathetic. People write here because they can practically write whatever they desire to. They are given a freedom that they are not given beyond the cyber world, the freedom to voice imagination that is based on published ideas. Some flamers fail to understand that. I wish they would. Yelling at people and shredding their feelings until they are crying isn't going to make them wanna improve. I understand not all flamers have the same purpose for doing what they do, and I won't make assumptions, saying they all have no life or something like that. But there are more than likely some like that. Honestly, one flamer went on and on about how we all failed at writing except for a few rare exceptions, and that we never improve. That's why there are betareaders and editors. But it's funny, I swear I've never heard one person say in their fic, or in a PM, or in real life 'My writing has gotten so much better since a flamer told me it was all garbage and to grow up and relearn the English language.' And yet there's a couple flamers who think they're helping out all the people who are writing fiction on here. (this is not an assumption because they wrote it on their profile) I hate to burst their bubble, but this isn't the real world. It's the internet. If they wanted to get their works published, they would more than likely be working harder on them, be getting a professional editor, an agent, and they obviously wouldn't be basing it off of someone else's work. No one can obviously think that every author can make it through an editor without atleast a few red marks on the pages of their manuscript. This is my opinion. I just wanted to put that out there so people know, not so people can argue. Name: Evia Gender: she-cat Description: picture: http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg237/clovergaze/animals/alcatraz_show_pic-2.jpg Evia's a fairly pretty she-cat. She has long, uneven fur and developing muscles with long legs and a feathery tail. One eye is gray and the other is blue. Evia is a grayish-blue tabby and white she-cat with Maine Coon blood running in her veins, though she is still mixed. Her voice is somewhat cold without her even trying, but if she really tries, she can sound like a motherly cat. (it's hard, considering her past) She has a curious gaze, but at first, it is aggressive. That is just the way it is. Personality: Evia is extremely touchy, often defensive of her reactions and thoughts. Evia enjoys water, because water seems to be her safe haven, ever since the dramatic experience with fire during the first moons of her life. She also enjoys running, and doesn't like being confined, but will do what she has to. Evia likes the strange and hates the normal, and doesn't take excuses. Evia also talks to herself, muttering strange things that don't make sense, an odd thing she inherited from her mother. Both easily distracted and wild, Evia doesn't like to stay put, nor does she like crowds and pressure. If there are too many cats, or if someone says they control her, she gets extremely irritated and fidgety. Evia is independent, and denies herself pleasure, seeing as these days she's always depressed and feels she deserves punishment. Evia is a protector, though her tactics are odd. Once something makes her furious, or someone is kind to her, she bounces back quickly and goes straight to justice for those she loves. Evia has a sharp tongue and is not easily convinced, unless she thinks she could easily take whatever cat she is speaking with, in which case she'll hear whatever they have to say and decide later. Evia is quick to act, often doing things at the spur of the moment. She is not the forgiving type, and is always ready and waiting, aware and on her paws at all times. Evia is wild, that much is for sure, and doesn't like to have help. She's also easily annoyed and ticked off, due to her short temper and low tolerance. Likewise, the she-cat is also impatient. History: ... (Here is where all the spoilers are! PLEASE READ WITH CAUTION AND AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you've read all of One Lie Wouldn't Kill Ya, or you only have a few chapters left, you are probably safe, but don't push it. When I say you've read all of it, I do mean all of it. I'm not done with it yet, though, so I haven't revealed any of this yet.) ... Evia was born in the mountains to a she-cat named Aiyra, who was living with a band of rogue cats (known as the Travelers) and her brother Keer. Evia was in a litter of two, and had a brother named Rayer. Evia didn't figure out till way later that she had a brother. The only reason she had never realized, was because while Aiyra was away hunting, Keer was watching them, but when he went to make dirt, a very young kit (Evia) and Rayer escaped and were running along the cliffs, when Evia lunged at him and knocked him over the cliff. They were only two moons old. Evia remembers it, but over the moons has forced herself to forget it, until she was reminded by Roary, a tom who had been born a few moons before her. Roary had picked Evia as his mate every since he saw her blue and gray eyes, though Evia despised him. Anyhow, Roary had found her sitting there when she was around five moons old, (three moon safter Rayer's death) and being the thoughtful tom he was, came up to her. He let it slip that she had killed Rayer, practically shoving it in her face, and Evia exploded. Before that, when she was five moons, Aiyra had taken her to meet her father, but instead, she got to meet a corpse. Both Aiyra and Evia were shattered, for when they found Scar's nest by one of the caves, they found a tortie and white tom whose fur was matted, and blood was trickling from the corner of his mouth. Evia immediatly withdrew from everyone, but instead of sitting in a corner, which she did only when she had to stay in "camp", Evia would run off into the woods, sit in trees, and claw things to pieces, mumbling things under her breath like her mother did. That's when we reached where we left off where Roary reminded her of Rayer. Anyhow, Evia had exploded and practically clawed him to bits. Random Fact That Doesn't Fit In Paragraph: Evia got her nickname 'Lost' from when she would run off from "camp" for days during her depression. The cats of the mountains believed her spirit was lost and her soul was soon to follow. Many thought she had also lost her mind, and gave her the name Lost. Some even called her that because of her odd, two colored eyes. Anyway... Back To Her History Everyone wasn't too concerned. Kit love and all the foxdung. But Evia knew she hated Roary since that day, and lashed out at everyone. Well, finally, the leader of the Travelers, a tom named Nei, couldn't take the concerns and irritation of his cats. He banished Evia and Aiyra because of the way Evia was acting, and because both of the "murmurers" were driving the rest of the cats to insanity, scaring the kits, queens and elders especially. They called Evia a dark spirit. Aiyra abandoned her kin's name of Seeker, and took Evia away from the Travelers. Keer abandoned the name as well, and went. Roary, too cowardly to come straight out and quit as well, feigned his own death before taking pursuit of Evia. Aiyra and Keer's mother and father were left in humiliation with the Travelers, though some pitied them and showed sympathy for having to be related to the "murmurers". Aiyra, Evia and Keer joined the Travelers' kin, the Wanderers, when Evia turned seven moons. They lived in the pine forests on the edge of the mountains, giving the three cats plenty of berth between their new enemies. The Wanderers did not require a family name, nor did they mind the odd murmuring and mumbling that Evia and Aiyra often did. The leader, a she-cat called Si who adored Evia, and her own kits, a tom named Quay and two she-cats named Ura and Vyri, were Evia's only friends when she first arrived. Vyri thought Evia's mumblings were actually neat, and she was almost envious, saying that Evia had a connection to their ancestors. Both Vyri and Ura went wherever Evia went, and Vyri disliked Roary as much as Evia did, though Ura found an attraction for the tom. But Evia didn't mind. Life was finally going right for her. She almost, but not quite, forgot her past life in the mountains. Even Quay, no matter how annoying he was and how much he liked to charm the she-cats, was funny and clever occasionally. But he was also friends with Roary, and really wanted Ura to be with him, too stupid to realize Roary liked Evia still. Aiyra was going to bear a new tom's kits, one called Gair. One day when Evia was ten moons, she had gone off on her own while Vyri was training to be leader after Si. Quay was playing a game with Roary and Ura, and since Evia hadn't gotten much alone time, took this time and used it to go hunting, maybe explore. Well, she went to close to some twolegs. They were staying in odd green pelts, and were holding meat over a fire on sticks. Evia didn't understand why they couldn't just eat it raw. While she was wondering why they were being a bunch of mousebrains, twoleg kits saw her, and immediately started chasing her. One was carrying a little box. Whenever the kit took a small stick and struck it against the box, fire appeared on the end. Evia was scared out of her mind and ran back to camp, trying to lose them, but they kept up, clammering along behind her, until they found the Wanderers. The one carrying the firesticks dropped the box in hopes of catching Evia, and with the box went a lit firestick. The camp was aflame in seconds. Evia ran towards the fire in hopes of finding the other cats and saving them, especially Aiyra, who was supposed to be delivering her kits any day now, and Si's family, as well as her own. But when she got within three tail-lengths of the fire, she freaked, unable to take a paw step closer. Her instinct made her flee the other way. She was hoping her paws would carry her to the Travelers, because Evia could no longer bear all the deaths that were on her. If the Travelers killed her, it wouldn't matter. Evia would be grateful. But her paws were not as kind, and sent her towards the clans. Evia was running to fast to hear one tom cry out. "They're coming!" (I wonder what that means... smirks) Thought of the Day: The eyes can be the undoing of a person; the gateway to their soul and the translator of their feelings. The eyes can be the lure for others; the aspect of a person that holds another's fascination and the reason for them noticing the person. Why the eyes?
