Yo! I be Blooming D. I'm currently living in California, hello sunshine. In my spare time I sew, Cosplay, read manga and random trivia, play video games, and otherwise slack off enjoying the nerdier side of life at cons where I can meditate and feel at one with Geekdom.

I really miss traveling and wish that evil loan overlords would give us poor starving students a chance to save for something worth while, like seeing the world, instead of paying off stupid degrees that aren't really worth the money. Seriously. What's a Vibram Five-finger lover going to do with a Business Admin. degree? Go barefooting to the office interview? LOL

Working on my first fic Stigma at the mo. It's RufusxElena, and inspired by Rebuilding of course! :) Done 6 partial chapters so far and planned 18. haha- such a slacker. Never knew it took so much discipline to write a fic (=_=) How do you all do it? I am determined to publish the next chap sometime november-ish. Will publish it some day. Yes, due to my rather insane temporal misplacements, your peace of mind won't last for long. MWA HA HA HA HA HA!!

On writting I use American English for spellings, British English for vocabulary, and South African English for grammar. Been around quite a bit, so I tend to muddle my dialects. If that's not confusing enough, you should hear my accent, it changes. lol.

P.s Random fact: Did you know we're all made from stardust? The atoms in our bodies, except for Hydrogen, were made inside of ancient stars that went supernova. They lived, died and recycled what they had made back to the galaxy long before our own star, the Sun, was born. Cool huh? Got to love random trivia :)

Fic Preferences:

Stories: AU - Alternative History. Generally the basic elements of the same story; just how everything would change if something went a little differently. Cause, ripples, effects and whatnot.

Style: For some bizarre reason I can't read first-person narrated fics without wanting to strangle the author. I start, get annoyed at the "I"s and "me"s, then can't finish. I don't know why, I just prefer fics in a third person narrative. It's also annoying when said fics are melodramatic whiny "why me" projected life stories of said authors who have never seen poverty, experienced war, lived in a third world country or been humbled by those who have and surpass it all. Honestly, if you're one such person, learn to shut it, take the pain, and MOVE ON. In first world countries it's REALLY EASY to shape the life you live with. Try.

Writting: Spelling, punctuation and grammar? hahaha, well funny you mention that. I'll admit I'm the pot calling the kettle black on this, but that's not because I don't try or don't care. It's because the little voices in my head have grown confused due to 7 different teachers preaching 5 different rules. English is not limited to one set of laws. Instead those little rules have been diversified where ever English went. There's no official version of English, or rather, there are several: American, Canadian, Bermudian, Caribbean , UK, Indian, Chinese, South African etc, etc. They all follow different rules, so I'm not about to hold that against anyone. However, it's not nice when an author ignores these laws altogether. It ruins the story for the reader, so please be nice and try follow a set of laws, whichever set it may be. Muchas Gracias! ;D
