I apologize to all my readers who are reading "Red Handed" and "Matchmaker", but they are both going on hiatus for the time being. I've been having some trouble with the next chapters for both stories and have been writing others. I know it's frustrating that I don't update for months at a time, so I've decided not to post any more stories until they are complete unless it's a one-shot. That's more fair to you and to me. Sorry for this, but I think it's for the best. I will finish both stories eventually because I still have the plots in mind, but right now there are other stories that are flowing more smoothly. Oops! Your Cliche is Showing! (Anonymous Contest)

My name is Kristy, I'm 27, and I live somewhere in the South of the US. I have a BA in English with a minor in Writing. Writing is my escape from my crappy life and what keeps me from cussing out the police officers I work with. I love to play around with grammar, refusing to capitalize words correctly in my review replies, and using incorrect English. Hey, I'm from the South, and my family accuses me of talking down to them when I use my education, so I might as well give in a bit.

My stories tend to be more innocent than some, but I personally am not naive. Number one, my life sucks and has since I was nine. Number two, I've worked at a police department as a dispatcher/ jailer for two and a half years. I dare you to go through all that and still be innocent and naive. I've recently branched out and started working on a more mature story, though I don't know how it's gonna go.

I look for any comments or suggestions, so please feel free to give some. I have a few different story ideas, and want to try to get one story out there at a time, but I'm impatient and get writer's block often. The best way I've found to get over writer's block is to leave it for a few days and work on another story. That usually cures it for me, so there's a possibility I may end up working on more than one story at a time. My summaries for my stories suck. So if you have any suggestions for how to improve the summaries, PLEASE let me know.

I plan on writing my own book as soon as I chase down one of the ideas floating around in my head long enough to follow through with it. That's another reason I'm writing on here. Motivation to follow through and finish a story.
