After The Lights - af-ter th-uh lahyts - æftêr ði laîts

Three possible meanings found, all nouns.

1 - The fifth album of Sweetbox and the the fourth album with Jade Villalon as frontwoman. It was released in 2004 in Japan. The album saw a shift in the lyrical style of Jade's writing, this time showcasing many songs written in 3rd person fashion,involving tales of lovers or people dealing with personal struggle, instead of a 1st person approach. The songs also were all based on original musical compositions written by Jade and Geo, the producer. Jade Villalon provided the singing voice of Yuna and Lenne in the English version of Final Fantasy X-2.

2 - The second track from the fifth Sweetbox album, lasting for 3:14. The song After The Lights tells the story of a couple who meet whilst performing in a theatre. They fall in love only to go their seperate ways, but see each other again some years later. The songs features strings and strong percussion back-up. Despite the fact that it's the album's self-entitled track, it was not released as a single.

3 - A girl who goes by the name of Jessica who enjoys writing. She's a Virgo and was born in 1993 which makes her a Rooster too. She lives in a town just outside of Manchester in the UK, where skies are almost permanently grey. Her Ipod is filled with Ayumi Hamasaki, Sweetbox, Namie Amuro, Paramore, The Killers, Utada Hikaru and a lot more. Her bookcases are stacked with so many books that there isn't room anymore, and she currently reading The Catcher In The Rye. Her favourite games are any by Square-Enix and also The Sims, but her personal favourite is Final Fantasy X and it always will be. Jess also believes that Nobuo Uematsu is a musical genius and would pick him over Mozart any day of the week. She also has the bad habit of rambling on about nothing, for which she apologises. Sorry.

Chapter 6 Preview

The hover was now approaching the main road into the city centre, with huge buildings towering high above them on either side. Brother slammed his foot on the break and they found themselves stuck in the infernal annoyance known as the traffic jam or according to Tidus, if you were from Zanarkand, a tail back.

“No!” howled Rikku, pouting and shaking her head furiously, braids swinging here, there and everywhere. “We’re never gonna be able to stick to my schedule if we stay stuck in this for hours.”

“You made a schedule,” Yuna asked, honestly surprised. It wasn’t often she saw Rikku so organised.

Chapter 1 Preview

“The man, well boy actually, was apparently running through the streets before he ended up there,” and I point upwards to the precipice high above us, causing Elma to crane her neck, cawing at the height of the drop.

“So he fell?”

“No, he jumped,” I reply bluntly and it takes her a few seconds to realise that I am genuinely being serious rather than sarcastic. Her brown lacquer eyes widen and she persists in pestering me, oblivious to my increasing annoyance.

“And now we’re down here looking for the guy?”

I am growing weary of stating the obvious. “That is correct.”
