Author has written 20 stories for Naruto. NOTE: I am currently very busy in my work and study, what with 2 jobs, full time education, and voluntary work. I'm still writing when I can, but please do not expect fast updates, or long stories. I'll probably post some oneshots in future, but for the next few months I can't see myself managing anything more. Sorry! A little about me: Age: 16 Gender: Female Obsession: Naruto (Mostly the manga, rather than the anime) Interests: Writing, drawing, dancing, skating, creating, debating, and most of all reading. Percentage of life dedicated to fandom: Probably 20-30 of my day, all 24 hours of it. Percentage of life dedicated to work/studies: About the same, 20-30...in theory. In reality maybe 5 Percentage of life dedicated to procrastination: 50, though that includes sleeping. Loves: Fanfiction, fanart, the earth, good conversation, and feedback Aspires to: Be as good a writer as Asuka Kureru or Quillslinger, to have a happy family, and to become chancellor of the exchequer. Probably in that order, but I'm not too fussed. Pairings: Nearly all. That means yaoi, yuri, het, incest, threesomes, foursomes, all-out-orgies and solo. But only if they are well written. I also find anything really obvious boring, so SasuNaru, KakaIru, NaruHina, SasuSaku, NejiTen, ShikaTema, SakuIno and TsuShizu aren't my favourites. I'll still read them though, if I'm in a mood to and the writing's good quality. In most situations, a good kiss is non-violent, and crashing implies force or accident. Of course, in the rare moments it fits, I don't mind in the slightest. But when it's used to describe a gentle, romantic kiss, it just spoils the mood for me. The inappropriate use of 'it's' or 'its'. There's a simple rule - 'it's' is short 'it is', and should not be used possessively! (I could do the same with 'their', 'there, and 'they're', but I can't be bothered. If you have trouble here, get a beta, or look up a grammar site!) The use of 'then' instead of 'than'. This makes me want to scream whenever I see it, because there really is no excuse here. They don't even sound the same! Now for those of you who get this mixed up, I'm going to explain it. 'Then' is used for one thing following another in time (e.g. He put on his shoes, then went out. She stared at the wall in shock, then burst into tears.) Simple! If you still don't get it, here's a link - http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/then . Now for 'than'. It is ONLY used to compare things. (e.g. He is bigger than his dog. Dinner is nicer today than it was yesterday. I would rather this than that.) I give the world fair warning - I don't intend to forgive anyone who muddles these two up And lastly, I find it irritating when people get their tenses muddled up. In order of the furthest back to the furthest ahead, it basically goes like this: I had done something, I did something, I have done something, I was doing something, I am doing something, I will have done something, I will do something. So you can't have 'she walked to the park, she has never been before' or even 'she walked to the park, she never went there before' usually. It has to be 'she walked to the park, she had never been there before.' or the second part isn't placed behind the first in order of events. Geddit? I changed my mind, this is the last one: people who don't know the difference between 'writhe' and 'wither'. Writhing is the kind of wriggling motion associated with agony, discomfort, and sexual pleasure (and tickling). Withering is what happens to plants left in the sun with no water, it's a type of decay. When people mix these two up (especially during romantic scenes) it completely ruins the moment for me.
