Author has written 19 stories for House, M.D., Transformers, and Harry Potter. My name is Eleanor. My friends call me Ellie, Els, Els Bells, Nelly, Melon...and now for some reason, Sheldon. I'm a girl. I've been a fanfic lurker for a while, only now have I decided to give the writing part a go. I think I started writing fan fic when I realised I wasn't alone in my love for slash fiction and, in particular, the House/Wilson relationship. Ever since I discovered fan fiction, it has had a certain ruling over my life - and I LOVE it. Believe it or not, I did my first RPS when I was 15 and got bored in the middle of a physics lesson. I've never touched RPS since - but lets just say that this story involved the members of U2, Michael Stipe (from R.E.M), Morrissey and David Bowie. One of them was wearing a towel. They were fighting over who'd get to play scrabble with who. Scrabble may or may not have been a euphemism. ;) SO yes, I was corrupted at a young age lol. I am a bizarre specimen of woman. I think KOOKY might be the word. Still, I'd go with the slogan on a badge I just bought myself, 'I'm not weird...I'm gifted.' Haha, if only... I have amazing friends, one of which is my beta - her name is Rachael - she'd kill me if I didn't mention her name. I have recently passed my A-levels and am going to uni in September to study English Lit/Lang. I was going to study Forensic Science, but changed at the last minute. I'm on a gap year atm where I'm getting money. And then wasting it on the cinema. My favourite book is: The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I've never laughed or cried so hard reading a book. My only worry is that I know I want to be a writer - my original writing is generally better than my attempts at fanfic - but I'm quite sure I won't make it as a writer. That is the only thing I really want to do with my life. I have no motivation to do anything else, so uni might be a struggle. My Loves: House MD, Monk, Scrubs, Harry Potter and many many more. (I am an EXTREME House fanatic.) Interesting House anecdote: My friend and I were shopping where I live and we both saw a man dressed in a leather jacket - JUST LIKE HOUSE'S BIKE JACKET! It just didn't look right without Hugh Laurie in it...and the cane. We were in a coffee shop at the time and they were selling 'candy canes' for christmas. So she dared me to buy one and go up to the man in the jacket and say, 'Sorry, I think you dropped this,' give the candy cane to him and then walk off! Funny times. (I also love Morrissey...but really that's nothing to do with this, I just enjoy shouting it from the rooftops.) My Hates: Narky fanfic writers (thankfully I haven't come across many. Most people are lovely). I read and write for my own enjoyment. I comment or review when a particular fic stirs something in me and compels me to say something. I don't take kindly to people who are unnecessarily cruel or negative about other people's writing. Constructive criticism is great! Not the kind that will make me cry. Although, saying that, a lot of the time I can't even handle con-crit. I tend to take ALL kinds of criticism the wrong way... I also play a few instruments. Some of my ships: House/Wilson, Harry/Snape (though I think I prefer guardian fics), JD/Cox, Harry/Draco, Optimus Prime/Megatron - yes you heard me! Good times. I'm on LJ under the same name 'Bonomania.' Yes, the name came about because I'm also a devout U2 fan. Mock me all you want. Hope you enjoy any fics I have/will write.
