Author has written 23 stories for Vampire Knight. .•´¸•´¨) ¸.•¨) 10-04-'09 I've gotten a few reviews (thank you so much! SMOOCH) regarding updates, and I must say, they aren't coming any time soon. Within the year, yes, but not next week. I've got midterm projects to finish within two weeks, and they're killin' me ;o; Not wanting to make excuses, but just being honest. The first to be updated, without doubt, will be HS and maybe another one-shot added to Gaining Peace. Evergreen has been nagging for more attention, and hopefully, it'll get its just rewards for being so patient. Other ideas have been popping up (weirdly, more YC ones (scratches head)) but they'll be repressed until I can get a move on for my current existing children :) That, and I'm dying to catch up with all the fics I just know I've been missing (sob) I miss writing long-ass idiotic nonsensical reviews!! 09-11-'09 Mm, I just realized this thing probably needed an update too, I'm obviously not in the middle of bumfucknowhere anymore, quite happily situated in civilized society now. And as for whether or not volunteering to do something in my church made any internal difference in me, I'm only half-regretful to say 'uh, no it didn't' (snort) So much for the 'Reach Enlightenment' outreach program (sigh) I let a bit of my skepticism get in the way, and my jaded cynicism certainly didn't help (shakes head) If I had the brains to understand all the religious mumbojumbo, that'd be a great help too :D Enough about the tragedies of failing to understand one's own religion (so, so sad) and onto better subjects. As for my current stories, if it weren't obvious by now, are going through a writer's block and haven't really made any progress. HS might still have hope, but what I have in mind for it is pretty pathetically boring, so the outline is going through much revision (sends a wistful glance to all her other neglected creations) Don't worry, I'll have something for you guys too, just bear with me, these are hard times, kids, hard times. 05-01-'09 Well, there's not much to say about myself really, as what I like is pretty evident in the stories that I'm writing :D MxM, Slash, Yaoi, BL, Shounen Ai - call it whatever, I love it XD Het has lost its shine and sparkle after getting exposed to two (or more) hot guys in action, and currently, I'm rather hooked on Kaname and Zero (I'm pretty sure some of you are aware, but for those that like the anime, unlike me, if you want to actually hear an uke Kaname, look up some BL dramas that stars Kishio Daisuke XD A personal favorite of mine with him in it would be Kimagure Chef no Koi no Recipe). I'm an easily distracted poor art college student that likes to have her marshmallows microwaved (shrugs) What can I say, I love my junk food (that, and I like watching it grow bigger and bigger before it deflates XD) Regarding my stories, I can only hope people who read them will enjoy them and have fun with them :) If not, they can take a piece of microwaved marshmallows as consolement. (showers her with confetti) And Something Maybe Some Of You Can Amuse Yourselves Over: OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion, or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. A moment of silence.
