Hello readers!

When I first discovered Twilight, I had no idea it would take my life in such a different direction than it was headed. Since reading the first three books in three nights, I've been completely and irrevocably in love ... with a fictional vampire and the world in which he lives.

I've always wanted an excuse to write, I just have never found the time nor the inspiration. I find, however, on this, my first foray into the world of fanfiction, that creating stories using characters I know and love is a good way to jump start my imagination.

A little about me: I've lived in five different states in the quarter century I've lived on this planet. I like the Pacific Northwest best, but at the moment I am living in Austin, Tx, with my boyfriend (who doesn't quite understand my Twilight-obesession, but deals with it because it makes me happy) and my dog, Mollie Weasley. I like all things pop culture and sci-fi. I work for an educational non-profit as a copy writer/editor.

I beta for AHelm ... go read her stories. They're awesome, and totally grammatically perfect. ;) (She, in turn, makes sure I don't make stupid errors in my stories. Many thanks to Socks.)

A great number of readers have left comments on BB&BN saying that they're picturing my Edward as a hotter Daniel Gale. To which I said, "Daniel Gale?" I've now seen The Bad Mother's Handbook and I would like A Daniel Gale of my own, please and thank you. I am a total proponent of nerd love. This video is even more appropriate to me now.

That said, my Edward does look a little like Daniel Gale, only with sex hair and a bit smaller glasses. Like this perhaps? (Please forgive my terrible Photoshop skills!) :)
