Okay, so, today, the sweetest thing ever happened to me. I was checking my email, and there was a PM in there from a girl who wrote this absolutely lovely poem about my story, You Know My Heart. I thought it was so great and amazing and touching that I'm going to post it here for all to see~ The girl's penname is Alice Hale Brandon. Go leave her a PM telling her that her poem is lovely(:

My soul mission in life is to become a writer. I refuse to die until I do. Hopefully I can get better at it, because if I don't, then I'll never die. x.x I just know it's my calling. There's nothing I want more than to see books of mine on the shelves of book stores I go to everyday. If every word I wrote in a novel could bring a smile to someone's face, then I believe my duty on this planet would be accomplished. I want people to read my writing, and to love it, and, one day, I want girls my age, maybe even younger, to look up at me and say "I want to be just like her someday." Here I stand today, at age eleven, looking at the pictures of amazing authors like JK Rowling or Stephenie Meyer (yes, I love them both, go whine about it to someone who cares), and aspiring to be just like them someday. Fanfiction is helping me, but one day, I want to go beyond it. I want to someday get a book published so that maybe everyone else can see that, no I'm not just a small-town girl who won't rise to anything. Maybe I won't be huge and write a book that people across the world know the name of even if they haven't even seen it, but as long as someone out there has read my work, as long as they've loved it, then I think my goal in life will be fulfilled.

Yes, I do read Harry Potter fanfiction, but I only read it if it's really good. HP characters can either be written well or horribley; no where in the middle. I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind her back or to her face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time at the mall, or talking to her boyfriend on the phone. Okay, so, it's about half an hour after I added Two Dead Roses to the site. But, I want to say thank you sososo much to the two people (I won't give their pennames, since I dunno if they'd want me to or not) who reviews within like ten minutes of my adding it. That was just amazing. I went to my email to delete the email I always get when I add a new fanfic, and I was favorited once, reviewed twice. It might be the fact that I'm on like an entire packet of honey Halls, Sprite, and it's one o' clock in the morning, but I cried. I literally just kinda sat there for a while and cried.
