Pen Name: I am Child at Heart Forever. The idea for my penname came to me the moment I was trying to figure one out, and I’m happy it was this one, because it sums me up in a nutshell. I love cartoons, video games, doodling, and enjoying my free time, and even with all the responsibility one receives with growing up, everyone will always have an inner child.

For short, you can call me Child. :D

Story Types: Adaptions/Novelizations (pretty common), crossovers (also common), Adventure, Drama, Parody, Humor, Mystery, and Friendship...though I'd one day like to try everything!

Likes: All of my friends, video games (especially Sonic and anything Nintendo), writing, being on the computer, Writer's Boom, traveling (when I get to), drawing for fun, ice cream...i dunno, I like a lot of things. XD

Dislikes: A thing known as boredom, Writer's Block, short chapters, a lack of productivity, having an inability to focus, Deleting my stories, homework, too much work, being way too busy and tired, and...surprisingly I have a long hate list. Let's end it here.

Favorite Games: Sonic Unleashed, FTW. *brick'd forever* Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Metroid Prime 3, Pokemon Black and White/2...and just about every Sonic game. :P

Favorite Books: Skinjacker series, Hush Hush series, Crazy, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Code Orange, and Crash

Favorite Song: Endless Possibilities by Jaret Reddick. (Bowling for Soup)

Favorite Parings: I only read pairings if they sound good, and I only write them for the enjoyment of people who like that pairing. So long as it's written well and everyone's in character, I'm all for it.

I'm more interested in character interaction- whether they're friends, rivals, lovers, or enemies, if they're interacting in a way that suits them, I'm gonna like it.

Personal Word: Writer's Boom (n)- Being able to do nothing but work on a piece of writing because you have so many ideas for it! (Antonym- Writer's Block)

1-12-13 Hey, first update of the year! And I'm using it to say I'm on hiatus cuz I have literally no time to do anything! So sit tight until I get back into the swing of things, and...I honestly can't give you update dates because I have no time to thoroughly edit and/or write my chapters.

Sorry for the inconvenience! But, like, my whole life is an inconvenience anymore. I miss being able to update weekly, I really do. :P

4-12-13 Hello, it's been, like, three months, since I made the announcement above, and even longer since I've legitimately updated anything, but know that I'm still working on things behind the scenes, as I'm trying to get a little more caught up so nothing like this happens again. I love to write stories; I can't imagine not writing, and I try to do it when I can, but 'when I can' is a very small window of time...but I'm not giving up. Whenever I'm back on track, I'll definitely be making up for the time I've lost, so I thank you for your patience and understanding. :)

Reworking Stories-

Yeah, some of my older stuff needs to reexamined, some for content, and some just for those foolhardy grammar mistakes. And some for both. :P I decided to start keeping track now, because I'm trying to focus more on it. The list is currently-

Paper Mario X: Definitely compared to the others, it needs a bit of a revamp so I don't wince when I look at it. xD

Open Your Heart: Mostly grammar, but there's a few spots that I'd like to rewrite, and things I want to add.

Live and Learn: Mostly content, actually. The chapters could use a lot more detail, because although it flowed well enough, it comes off as flat to me now.

Paper Luigi X: Grammar. Definitely. Big time. Why did no one chastise me for that?! XD Otherwise, I'm okay with the content.

About My Stories-

Because I’m assuming that’s what you’re here for, so here’s a bit of info about them.

One Shots:

I don’t do one shots very often, because they usually end up being extended into two, three, five, or ten chapters. Contrary, I have a lot of them under my belt, and while some of them are more popular than others, and some are pretty dated, they all hold some significance to me.

These include: Lost and Maybe Forgotten, Hats Off to the Rapper, A Girlfriend for New Year, Hey! We Should Do This Again Sometime!, Shadow: Left Unbalanced, Shadow: Transcending Lifetimes, Decorating, Tangerine: The Unofficial Epilogue, Just Call Me Sonic, Impulse, and Momentum.

Sonic Adaptations:

It all started with a one shot I did for the opening of Sonic Unleashed (which is now updated and chapter one of Unleashing Sonic: Story Mode). It was so loved by one person that he recommended I do the entire game, and so I did. Then I decided to do Open Your Heart, because I adored Sonic Adventure while never actually playing it (at the time), then I thought I should do a sequel to that…and then I decided I might as well do most of the main series. :P While US: SM stands as my personal best and favorite, the others hold just as much importance to me. After all, together they’re one long tale about Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. One couldn’t be without another.

These include: Open Your Heart, Live and Learn, Because We’re Sonic Heroes, I Am All Of Me, Unleashing Sonic: Story Mode, and Speak With Your Heart.

Mario and Sonic Series:

While right now this only consists of three sports-related stories, I have a whole concept for this series, which explains about MS Station, why the two crossover so much to begin with, and a bunch of other things, but none of those ideas have been put to story quite yet, but it’ll happen eventually. The overall premise is (going to be) that Mario and Sonic were once, and still, huge rivals, but after a huge fight, they end up at MS Station, which is in between their worlds and under control of one person from outside their worlds, and vows to get the two and all their friends to get along more…no matter what needs to be done or how long it would take.

Which leads to the three sports stories to begin with, and why they occurred in the first place. But like I said, there’s a bunch of missing links in the equation that still need to come to light. In fact, Prank You and Good Night takes place long after the three sports stories, and there are at least two "on the back burner" fics that come in between. Maybe three.

These include: Mario Versus Sonic in a Game of Baseball, Sonic Challenges Mario to a Strikers Tournament, Mario, Sonic, and the Great Sports Mix, and technically Prank You and Good Night.

Paper Mario X Series:

The series that I’m easily known for overall, and also probably kick-started it all for me, after my slump of not knowing where I wanted to go with my writing the first few months on FanFiction…even though I had no plans for it to be a series at that point in time. The original PMX I had a feeling would be well-received…but not to the extent that it ended up being. O-o. It was supposed to be that one story, but then a sequel became inevitable, and then I added a spin off, and then the third story was only written to round everything off (TBH, I think that one’s my favorite, since it has everything that made PMX2 and PLX awesome, plus more)…

…And now there’s a fourth one up and coming. So looking forward to how this turns out. XD

These include: Paper Mario X, Paper Mario X 2: The Thousand-Year Door, Paper Luigi X, and Super Paper Mario X…

And yes, PMX4 is as of now confirmed. *confetti*

Others:

This includes anything multi-chaptered, but isn’t part of any of my Big Three series. I can’t talk about them collectively because of that, but I can say that I do like to branch out from what I usually do, and there are still a few ideas and fandoms I’d like to test the waters in.

These include: Mario’s Party Tales, Prank You and Good Night, Letters of Ness, Plot Twisted, Forty Little Candy Canes, and Gaming’s Next Generation.

Never really realized how much I’ve written until I fully analyzed it. O.O

Recommended Authors:

Anyone on my favorite authors list, honestly. Every one of them is a person who has humbled, inspired, or helped me improve my own writing, and I could write paragraphs about their talents, and I could talk endlessly about why they deserve to at least be looked over, and I seriously could publish a book about the friendship and kindness that they've given to me and to others, but I decided to keep it short and sweet and just do this.
