Some facts about me and my life:

My name's Mia. I was born on February 20 in 1995, so that makes me fourteen after two months.

I love astrology, creative literature, wolves, mythological creatures (vampires, werewolves and such), lemon ice-tea, the smell of books, and the sunset.

I'm the type of girl that's all tough and hardcore on the outside, but really sensitive on the inside, though I never show it. I hate crying; it's so humiliating. Some people call me stoic, but that's just the way I am. I'm actually a pretty cheerful and funny person once you get to know me. My sense of humor is mostly sarcastic, but sometimes a little bubbly, too.

I grew up in Iceland, which bites. Nothing exciting ever happens around here. Not to mention the weather, which is freezing cold all the time.

Me and my family are descendants of possible witches and warlocks, so I grew up learning about healing stones and herbal teas.

I'm an atheist for the moment, but I like the Wiccan motto "An' ye harm none, do as you will". It's pretty basic, and wistful at the same time. Though, I do believe in astrology. I believe that everyone is unique and different, and everone has a destiny - but it's their choice if they choose to follow it or not. I'm very much into philosophy, and also meaningful poetry.

My favorite music is extremely random genre-wise, but it includes about everything between Evanescence, Within Temptation, Slipknot and Otep, and Christina Aguilera, Rihanna and Eminem. My older brother - who is eleven years older than me - is a rap artist, producer and part-time DJ here in Iceland, so I learned to appreciate 2Pac at a very young age. But most of my friends are a little Gothic and emo-like, so I listen to that kind of music alot, too.

I love to travel and I've been to Paris, Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Oklahoma, Benidorm, Alicante, Chicago, Seattle and Washington D.C. I would love to visit England, and I'm a huge fan of Ancient Egypt, so I plan to go there someday; check out some pyramids and stuff.

My favorite poet is Sarah Williams, and my favorite writer is either Stephenie Meyer or Margit Sandemo. Unlike most of Stephenie's fans, Twilight is not my favorite book by her. I think the Host is one of the most amazing books I have ever read. But, of course, Twilight is awesome too. I love mythical stuff.
