Updates:

June 2009: Still working on Beautiful Music. It's not abandonned.

October 2008: I've just purchased and am currently moving into my first home (2500 sq ft, 6 bedrooms, 3 bath, 0.82 acre, 2 car garage WOO HOO) so I've not done a lot of work on Beautiful Music. I'd like to get back into writing it all the time, and soon I think I'll be able to do so. I've been having a little more fun with some of the sequel stories instead, so that I don't burn out on it.

April 2008: I've slowed down considerabley on posting updates to Beautiful Music. It doesn't seem to generate much interest and it's a large volume of work. I will finish it for myself, because I do like it. There are several chapters I've had to cut out over the years - I will rework them to release as separate self-contained stories within the same universe.

January 2008 I watched all of the Harry Potter movies finally. I always swore I'd never do it, so now I'm one of the popular crowd! Hooray!

My name is Jennifer. I'm in my 30s and am a Respiratory Therapist. I am learning Russian and already speak some Spanish and French. I like to chat at ICQ to practice languages.

My previous pen names were prairie_starr and j. starr. I don't like for my real name to be plastered all over the net so I have been batting pen names back and forth. I don't write an awful lot, but when I do work on a story, it tends to be novel length. I've started about 15 stories but only have, I think, four on the internet so far. Right now, I'm writing my first and probably only real slash story, for the fandom THAT 70s SHOW (And I'm working concurrently on TWO sequels for it.) I am also in the middle of two seperate fics for the tv show Barney Miller. My favorite tv shows in the world are Barney Miller and Futurama. I also love the old Superfriends cartoons, Smallville, WKRP in Cincinnati, Hill Street Blues, Trapper John MD/MASH, Firefly/Serenity, Early Edition, Alien Nation, Quantum Leap, Night Court, That 70s Show, Heroes, Drive, Titus, and Inuyasha. My favorite movies are all the original Star Wars, the Lethal Weapons, the Die Hards, and the Spidermans. So far, I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't write Harry Potter fic and I've never read the books of seen the movies.

I love the Beatles, The Who (saw in concert twice), Ozzy (saw in concert five times - twice with Sabbath WOOO!), John Denver, Jim Croce, Christopher Cross; way too many to ever list.
